My point being su30sm2 pretty much gets an instant win condition against f15ge in a 1v1, i know air rb isnt a 1v1, but the point remains.
No, it’s not an instant win against F-15C GE.
The F-15C GE is still going to out-speed it, and have rather similar flight performance.
That is the 1v1 situation.
to be fair F15CGE is buns no FM buff no duel racks its actually just buns SM2 is better than it but the EX II is better than SM2
I really think the su30sm2 is a far stronger plane having played both pretty heavily so far. The su30sm2 obviously only on dev, but still. Even just from the few games I have in it, its far stronger. Whats even crazier is that irbis is missing like 300km of range.
You could be more use to the Flanker flight models than Eagle flight models.
I am more use to the Eagle flight models, so I have to take that into account when addressing the data.
I will perform worse vs F-15s because of my own skill gap.
However, the data shows that without a skill gap, it’s a tossup.
Su30sm2 has r27ers.

Other flankers can’t guide them from a notch, and really even on other flankers in a 1v1 scenario the r27er is pretty much the best missile
R77-1 is far more preferable not that the R27ER is bad
Which are notably worse than R-77-1s.
SU30 SM-2 is just Better its more compareable to the F15E its best american top tier

No it isn’t.
F-15E is closer to Typhoon in BVR than it is Su-30SM.
And R-77-1s are better in BVR than R-27ERs. Similar range, vastly more agility.

the standard SM yes the SM-2 no now it has the new engines
The main problem with r27ers is nonexistant on with the irbis e radar, you can comfortably guide them whilst defending.

Those new engines bring the SM2 closer to F-15C.
The standard SM was closer to F-18C.
The AIM-120Cs not reaching their agility is another issue.
You can do that with R-77-1s…
No one is stopping you from using AMRAAMs like SARH missiles with an extra radar.
