Yeah 14.7 at minimum for the new platforms (gonna have to see with the Gripen E), but yeah people always go as far to say “russian bias” as soon as they are remotely competitive again, and what russia had back then atleast 1 other nation also had, and 99% of games were still steamrolled by the US in air

I have to agree with what you said, and you don’t see the USSR players crying because Soviet/Russian equipment is going to them.

The Gripen E will sort of be fine with everything else. It has the same “super AESA” like everyone else, but with MAW and BOL and all that jazz. It’s not quite a F-15C GE situation with it, but it should be able to hang with the rest of them (if with some degree of difficulty…).
Tbh back when the F-14 reigned supreme it was a pain to fly against and then the early days of AMRAAM A came and everyone was being swatted out of the sky like flies. Su-27/30SM gained R-77 and later R-77-1 and sort of had an edge but that was mostly <20 km. With this Su-30SM2, that R-77-1 can see early game BVR action as you’ll likely be up to speed much faster than before instead of slowly crawling up there. F-15Es and Eurofighters will still be faster of course, but this time it won’t be that much slower as it joins the fray.
Su-30sm is severely overperforming in top speed. I know this upgraded su30sm2 will also overperform in that regard as well.

Yeah the SM2 is for sure an upgrade over the SM but Typhoons will still have the edge for early BVR, they are much lighter and in return their engines are far more efficient, but its nice to see a competitive bvr platform for russia in the 120 and MICA meta

It rips just a little above Mach 2, same as Rafale. I could be wrong, but I’ll check again
In my video in the bug report it shows it rips at Mach 2.1
- We dont even have the R73M lmao we got the plain old basic R73
- And so? the ER was the only thing keeping russia from drowning as is, its not gaijins fault really that russia is far behind in terms of tech, hence why they just about were floating with the addition of fox3 since the r77 was still absolutely trash

Yes, it is intentional as the R-77-1 can be launched at any angle
any angle under 180 degrees*
R771 gimbal limit is ±55 degrees.
It has a gimbal override so it can be launched at any angle
Basically the same thing as the Python 5/9X Block II where it uses datalink/iog to search for a target outside the seeker’s gimbal limit so it can be fired outside of it

In fact, my main concern regarding Ground Forces is that the SU-30SM2 is equipped with a better engine allowing it to return to the airfield for landing more quickly
