Su-30SM: In Thrust We Trust

my guess is to try to keep it the same or the F/A 18 would YEET it outta the sky ( not that it already is…)

ya it does or burnt planes w/ no one in them… kinda annoying.

It’s supposed to be better than the amramm but I see they dropped the ball on that too

See it’s called CAS (particularly planes) is the problem, not just Russian ones…

(lol I said the truth and some is trying to hide it by flagging this)

The Su-39 is missing over half of its weapons systems… and it’s Russian…

Oh, don’t talk about all sorts of bombs. Half of the A-10 is missing too.

Do you have any evidence for that?

We need New engines That engines are Very Low VEERY

New engines, and a radar fix many people are team killing accidentally due to the radar calling friends enemies

By any chance do you know if there is a difference in IGN modes for AIM-120 and R-77-(1) missiles?
I found a couple of videos when R-77-(1) does not hit straight flying target below 50 meters. Missiles were launched from 5.6km altitude from about 22km distance.
AIM-120 kills you in 100% cases in my experience.

The Aim-120 hits anything above 35 meters from what I’ve seen and done.

The R-77-1s and R-77s seem to cap out at 50-60ish meters.

Except that it is?

It has nothing to do with the missiles and everything to do with the intercept geometry.

Yep, probably just AMRAAMs tendning to be fired from high by F-15s and Typhoons and Su-30s hugging the deck all the time

Tbh, most top tier players are hugging the deck. All aircraft types, all nations.

Is it? Because I’ve had far better luck with aim120s over r77s

Then I would say you are not using your missiles properly.

The only scenario in which the base R-77 is worse than the AIM-120 in the extreme long range shots, which will only hit an irrelevant player. And even in these scenarios the R-77-1 is better than the AIM-120.

Both the R-77 and R-77-1 when launched within effective range are superior in every respect to the AIM-120.

I would love to see the proof of that, because I’m my experience that is not the case at all

There’s already photos of Kh-38s on Su-30s.
You’re so upset at Soviets having CAS equal to France’s CAS…
