Su-25's situation

Creating two more gamemodes and thus two more mms is a big ask. Not to mention the re-balance that would be needed.

What rebalance?

Gaijin is too lazy to even create a separate BR for air and ground despite being completely different modes.
Half the issues would be resolved if CAS wasn’t undertiered and fighters overtiered… we spent years with CAS spawning in for peanuts whilst competitive fighter planes would be 20-30k SL to spawn to take on a 3k SL P-47 whilst also costing about the same SP.

Main rebalance would be all spaa. Missile spaa would need to drop by a lot. Maybe need to remove IR missle spaa from that mm.

What do you mean?

Are you genuinely asking how removing planes would affect the effectiveness of vehicles built around countering planes?

No he isn’t. He does it to avoid having to put a genuine response.

I did not know what you meant to say.

And you have said nothing there about removing planes.

Sure you see into my head.
Maybe return when you have an argument.

My comments have been in relation to you suggesting that seperate game modes with no planes is not a big ask.

Sure. Says that guy who can’t do maths.

Because it is not a big ask.

I gave a reason as to why it was. There would be rebalance needed.

And what kind of rebelance would be needed?

As stated earlier

Well, if you mean SPAA rebalance, then i don’t see any reason for it.

Many SPAA are already better tank destroyers than actual SPAA.
And you know, you can just not play them. There are many tanks, that i have unlocked, yet i will never play, because they are either trash, or so utterly out of my playstyle, that i would suffer.
Or, if you want to spade them, you can either go a few matches in the CAS mode, or go into tank assault mode, where you can farm planes, and get a bunch of tank assists.

By that logic, why shouldnt something like the is2 be at 10.0? If it cant compete, just dont play it.
Edit: an example that would fit much closer to your logic would be if Gaijin removed apfsds from the abrams sep, left it at the same br, and said “why would we lower its br if you can just not play it”
Gaijin balances based on performance and they would have to get a seperate list of stats for the new gamemodes. Missile spaa would drop like rocks and maybe so heavy/slow vrhicles end up goiing a little.

True. That is why they are over br’ed in terms of their spaa effectiveness. People see the AP belt and go td mode which pushes their brs up even if they struggle against planes.

Let’s be honest, Gaijin’s lack of Br decompression has gotten worse. TBH, Air should have BRs as high as 16.0, an f4 has 0 business against f16s, f15s and mig 29s. Period. Ever.

No.
Both the IS-2 and the Abrams, are tanks, that fight other tanks. And they can be used with the same effect as most of their competitors at that BR.
SPAA is intended to counter a whole different thing. If there is no such thing in a mode, then you can either use them as a TD or AFV, or, just not ply them, just like you likely not play every tank you unlock.
I will never play for example, a Tortoise, becaus it is just a bad tank, and not in my playstlye. And it is just a single example from many more.

Yes. They do it, because rewards for killing tanks, is bigger, than killing planes, and it is easier.
giphy

Yes. They need to fix that.

That is what I suggest they would be in that mode. However, their effectiveness would be much lower so their brs would drop.

I see what you mean, yet Gaijin refuses to gife separate BRs for planes in tank mode, so, i don’t see this ever happening.

I also don’t see TO mode ever happening, because of the permium CAS players would cry too much.

They really do also need seperate brs in air and ground modes for planes.
There is a lot of good that could come from gaijin itemizing some parts of the game such as that and load out sp cost for cas.

Of course more spaa would be welcome but it wouldnt help those that refuse to play them. It would help me at least because i want some new spaa to mess around with.
