Introduction
The Soviet Union captured several German self-propelled guns during World War II, including the Hummel (meaning “bumblebee” in German). Built on a Panzer IV chassis and armed with a 150mm howitzer, the Hummel was a powerful artillery piece used by the Germans. The SU-150 (Hummel) was used in the battles at Balaton along with other captured German vehicles.

… It can’t be a copy and paste of a vehicle that hasn’t been added nor stated it will be added. The su 152 has better armor but would more than likely have less traverse, less penn and slower reload. The hummel might get it’s heat which would then end up giving it more penn than the su 152. Are you seriously saying you wouldn’t want a fun vehicle like this?

why dont you ask about the stats of the HEAT shell and see how they stack up against the 152mm APHE

im not against the hummel itself but it should go to German tree where it belongs

The hummel isn’t in game so we can’t directly compare them especially if you know they will give us gaijin magic where they make penn what they want, speed what they want and armor what they want. I am saying more than likely because we are just speculating even if you look up the max speed of a vehicle good luck getting the actual speed in game. An example is HVAP having terrible penn because of gaijin penn magic or the aml 90 max speed being 56mph but I have genuinely never gotten it past 50 unless going down hill.’

And yes Germany should get the hummel before suggesting giving a nation its captured variant but I’m up for both.

im pretty sure the hummel’s armor is known, its not exactly classified, and its a ww2 tank with some surving examples in museums

same with the speed, this stuff is known, speculation isnt necessary

Speed? Did you AT ALL read what I said even if speed is known that doesn’t mean it will make it up to that speed it is like a guideline. I’ll correct what I said about armor but penn is a different thing about this game where thing’s may be set to their penn value but gaijin frequently will put what ever they want.

A perfect example is them not setting the value of plane shells to their real life value or making hvap completely useless in a slight angle.

gaijin frequently will put what ever they want.

iirc, they just shove the shell stats into a formula so if you know the characteristics (which im sure are well documented) you can guesstimate the amount of pen itll have ingame

Thats the problem they guesstimate shell penn which has been … relatively accurately? Were you there for when they randomly removed the ostwind’s or nerfed hvap/apcr into the ground both angle penn values and damage?
