Two photos of Finnish StuGs with side skirt plates and so far the only ones I have ever seen. The latter is said to be from 1944 and curiously the skirts are freshly painted. Why would they have added the side skirt back for a single tank?

It’s certainly not going to work for anti-anti air, but at least in WT that works for 360.
What is that thing it is mounted on? The round thing in front of loader’s hatch? Is it a closed fume extractor?
Where the 360° Rundumfeuer MG WOULD be mounted. However not all vehicles got it nor aparently this one as such they were simply blocked off, like the smoke/shrapnell Genade launcher some vehicles had in the roof.

I would say it is a 5mm steel plate
I have collected few close-ups. Looks like about 1cm thick and 10-15mm plates would be something they could have cut fromwrecked BT or T-26.
Looks a bit thicker, to be honest. Looks like it’s around ~10mm+, considering the side-plate just to the right of the visor is 30mm thick and the visor plates seem to be just under half that thickness.
How has this not been passed yet, absolutely a +1 from me. I hope to see all variants and at least one of them in the tech tree (preferably all in the tech tree).

The Stug III/Stumii was the most widely used armored vehicle the Finns possessed. They had more of them than the Pz mkIV and T-34 already included. If you don’t want to model the logs etc. just put in a Stug III with out side skirts. If you’re still reluctant make it a premium option and charge money for it. By any objective standard the lack of this vehicle is a grave oversight historically.
Gaijin simply don’t care
They care when it’s about your money. Like putting the only Finnish rank 2 option in the premium section instead of the TT where there’s a huge gap.
Should not be a premium. Maybe the sturmi, but the stug was standard Finnish equipment during ww2.
Well that’s true, gaijin only cares to earn money from Finland unlike every other subnation
With all the different variations, we could see both tech tree and premium/event.
Gaijin would give us a triple vehicle packs of just sturmis to sell us
