Strela-10 has no right or reason to go any higher than 10.3 simply just no, right now all it takes to make it complete worthless is any other aa with radar even Ozelot can make Streal-10 unless and im not joking as this has happend to me while playing as Strela
why not? there is stinger AA at 10.0 and strela absolutely should be 2 or more BR steps above AA which’s only medium range capability is stingers
and should be higher br than roland 3 systems due to its very poor performance in game
Strela has 8 missiles ready to go Ocelot has 2 Stingers…
You might want to actually take a look at the Ozelot and Strela, because they both have the same amount of missiles in the exact same loadout: 4 ready + 4 reload.

Have you ever used the Strela ingame? Even at 10.3, it’s outclassed by both OSA-AKM, which is at same BR, and Tunguska which is ta 10.7. Having a radar won’t save it from 5 km+ missiles, which are becoming common at those BRs. In comparison, the Ozelot is tiny, has thermals and a passive radar at a lower BR, and has IRCCM and the same number of missiles with the same range, pulling lower Gs, and lacking a photocontrast mode. Fun fact: All it takes to defeat photocontrast is to have terrain behind you.
have you played any non russian AA in that BR range? because strela completely outclasses all of them
both stingers and rolands are easy to evade at any range whereas you cannot reliably evade a strela from ~6km or less while it sits at a BR where even in a full uptier there is not much CAS that can be effective from beyond that range
to be fair this is basically the exact same thing as RWR but for ground.
so if someone has their radar off or do not even have a radar, u wont be able to detect them
It’s fairly pointless due to the near complete absence of A2G radar modes for most relevant airframes, so you won’t actually be finding those higher priority threats.

They seriously introduced hud radar into the game, and strela is an already forgotten relic that will never get passive detection in this game. Bravo gaijin
Strela is bloody good though
About as fair as the Otomagic at 11.3
But it is circumcised from passive detection by which it will never be 100% complete.
Maybe let’s do that with ozelot? Why does he need IRST after all
