what are you trying to say? it’s the same issue as if you placed an i15 at a 5.7 match. The Mk24 is very draggy and will not keep its speed linearly so if another spitfire (or re2005) dives on you later when you leveled for some seconds it’s going to catch up. I’ve never been killed by a Spitfire Mk24 and I face them a lot whenever i get into match with La-15 or when I started playing early jets like mig9l and yak 15. Not even when they were 6.7 and I occasionally met them in K-4.

You original issue was that you’d been pounced on by something you couldn’t understand how they weren’t shown to you, nor kept up to you…
These are signs that someone is using the plane effectively, and player usage is a skill.
And is part of why people struggle facing some planes.

But that won’t change the fact, that some planes are just mid or even bad at their battle ratings.
Plane is only 50% of the success, and there is no plane that would give full 50% but that is exactly why plane that is worth 20 - 10% at its BR is a struggle bus regardless of user skill.
Bad pilot will simply hate the plane, good pilot will get frustrated by all possibilities that he sees he missed and all that 'caused by “the plane”
Your opinion of “taking sides” from very beginning is also quite misplaced, i have no “friends” here, and i’m not the type of person to blindly take sides. Me standing in opposition to you (here) simply means you did not convinced me to take your side.

These are both bad players blaming the plane to be honest. A bad tradesman blames their tools.
