I dont see it as bad, as its no better then the Stingray 1, as it just has additional Armor, wich decreses its speed.
Yeah, the hp/t took a serious hit, but it also gets better optics and access to improved ammunition as a tradeoff.
Unfortunately, I don’t see any probability of the Stingray II getting its planned 650 hp engine in-game, since it never actually used a substitute engine like the 120S didn’t with its uprated engine.

It has a better transmission for a higher top speed. The engine is upgraded to 550hp (and there’s the option of a 650hp engine, though that was not fitted). Weight increase is only to 22.6 tonnes, so it still has 24.6 hp/tonne compared to the Stingray I’s 25.2. The tank also gets second-gen thermal sights and would likely be equipped with M900 which is a much better round than DM33.

Hoping the M8 Thunderbolt 120mm gets added to the TT and not as a event
Gaijin on there way to finally add a US used stingrays model (after getting the Thailand on under a US flag) and they paywall it.
Kinda was looking forward to it too.

I feel like this is similar to the f14d in that its a new vehicle with its own features and they could just add a tech tree and premium version with different camos but i have a feeling gaijin is also afraid to continue doing that because premiums have always been like this, sometimes reskinned tt vehicles and sometimes unique vehicles stuck behind a paywall (or that weird one with the M8 car being a premium in the US tt and a tt vehicle in the chinese tt)

Only 4 nations have them, most of the packs (Russian ones aside) don’t pay wall anything, and at least with regards to the rank III packs*, they’re great deals for players as they’re effectively always 50% off
‘* unfortunately the tank IV pack for Russia wasn’t properly priced, and it’s actually a better deal to buy 3 tank Iv packs on sale than to buy the pack itself
