I just said the source is correct.
What you’re ignoring is the source says the missile rotates & the G-load is temporary during specific rotation.
Which one, and where, because I can’t find it.
What I can see however is a whole lot of 20-22G, in several separate documents.
No it doesn’t…
We need to really politely ask gaijin where did they get the 13g from despite several documents saying its 20-22g
To what? Get an answer that explains why they are straight up ignoring requisite proof that that they are blatantly wrong.
Stinger does rotate, No one is arguing with that. Recipe missile rotating and having 20 g manoeuvrability are not literally mutually exclusive
I wish I could find that Q and A they did where they make their claim about why Stingers can’t pull 20s, so I could dissect it more thoroughly, but at the end of the day, the reason they’ve decided to halfass this is that they hold their own baseless supposition on what the Stinger is theoretically capable of, over the manuals that describe the actual capabilities of the missile.
Imagine thinking you know more about how a missile works than the military that’s used them since the 70’s.

I am also fully in capable of figuring out how to attach a gif via mobile lol

They also said Data Link is “fundamentally impossible”.
Its impossible because Russians cant do it. They have trash for Guidance computers/Ai or as buzzworded as “Data Integration”, in comparison to the West
Should it not have loft?
Im not familiar with such thing so I dunno
The only thing I catched is that the stinger is indeed a rotating airframe missile and thus a different overload values should be implemented - but even with this in mind they are still a few ‘g’ short.
I didn’t bother to dig deeper, can’t say much about the validity of such claims
Drag is down, and lower speed means that the 3 extra Gs improve it even more. Honestly thats just a nice buff. Peak speed doesnt matter
What is LOFT anyway?
It would be nice to have it equal to what the sources say nonetheless
In short, from what I understand:
The missile knows where it is and it doesn’t likes it, thus it ventures up and above into thinner air to maintain speed and extend range
Then the 13Gs is likely accurate.
You allegedly cannot get 20Gs all the time.
Its where the missiles flies in a parabolic or curved arc to hit from above, vs a straight head on. It significantly reduces speed and burntime, but warthunder models loft like junk, where it just burns extra fuel and makes things miss
Why are you ignoring documentation that proves the opposite?
