Can you link a photo like that? All I can find with that config is a shopped yt video thumbnail. All other photos are GBUs, fuel tanks, or cluster bombs in those positions.

Currently we only mount anto ship or cruise missiles on those stations
But older diagrams showed missiles mounted on those hardpoints as well

Looks just like an f-20 to me, but I see the f16 at certain angles
MAR-1, AK and AKG after release free fall for a few seconds before activating their engine, so that’s not similar at all to rocket pods which if launched in salvo next to engine would probably choke it.
unless rocket pods have convergence set this issue will not arise as long as the pilot doesn’t intentionally fly into the smoke trails
