Imagine arguing and explaining to gaijin how tamir can reach 70km with max speed of mach 2.2. (i think its smaller than derby aswell).
Derby itself is advertised to have more range than the game version maybe it has something to do with drag and gliding that are not accurate in game idk not an expert in that stuff

The range should be much lower, hence why it is said up to 70km. That range is more so for such targets
Almost every anti air has a lower effective range against actual manouvering aircraft

Actually Derby ER in game is pretty accurate, 100km launch mach 1 head on engagement its pretty good. Terminal velocity of about mach 3.
(All three missiles are derby er model. Derby_er_2 is the dual pulse, i just customise derby_er_1 and derby_er_3 to test out the effect of single pulse, dual pulse, and three pulse.)
Only thing I think its inaccurate is the Isp of the propellant, gaijin assumes its 244Isp. Personally I think its relatively low for an advance/modern missile.

Gaijin simply plans ahead, otherwise they wouldn’t have added new Panties which excel at munition interception if they didn’t planned HARM missiles, with NT event merely being proof of concept.
If memory serves me right, Rafael Derby ER brochure states 100km range (launch distance I presume) at “medium altitude, subsonic target and attacker”. so you might want to retest that at, lets say, 0.9mach and 5km alt.
But when I was fiddling with Statshart and Derpy ER there, it was already looking promising.

Even if Tamir cant reach 70km id be ok with it, as I stated prior I would be targeting munitions anyway which Tamir is designed for. That said, war thunder maps are small, and if Tamir can reliably reach 40km quicker than Derby ER it would be an upgrade

Once again as stated prior, the real issue isn’t the Iron dome itself, gaijin has added systems in a similar vein already, the issue is the multimode seeker, I seriously doubt gaijin will add a seeker with so many redundancies especially to a nation that isn’t russia
The Isreali ROCKS missile will be able to, everyone around them uses stuff like Pantsir and Tunguska, and we know they’ve been used to neutralize such sites recently

AFAIk they do not cover its track radar, but they do search radar.
Realistically I think gaijin may just say ARMs can target radars in general because if they add them and only one side actually gets to use them there will be a public outcry and I genuinely think the game would die. Straw that breaks the camels back and all. The HARM worked great in the event, it could track the OSA, the Buk M2 and the S300 just fine
