It’s obvious, we’re getting closer and closer to the patch and less and less changes. They probably won’t even give us adequate radar.

It’s not likely at this point that P5 gets changed. Neither am I expecting anything for any of the other SPAAs. US does get a nice SPAA now, Israel at least ahs a chance now be it slightly off.
Well, Israel has worse SAMs than the US.
On a Spyder, you have a very small range, when you can shoot down the Kh-38, you have to let the missile accelerate and only then you can respond, but if it’s not shot down before 8km, you’re dead. On US SAMs, you can do it whenever you want.

The P5 if I understand you correctly, just doesn’t hit targets like bombs, missiles and such.
They can only be used to helicopters, but the Soviets have defense against IR missiles. And the P5s didn’t have “jamming protection”.
Derby’s don’t hit targets that have just been fired at you. The missile doesn’t realize the target is picking up speed and flies past
I don’t even want to say I was 1 on 1 at the range. In the realities of the game, we wouldn’t stand a chance.
Derby hits if you throw it when the target (missile) has already gained speed, otherwise it will miss. The problem is that missiles can be thrown not from 20km, but from 10km. That’s where you’re automatically dead
