It cannot be said that this modification (MR) cannot be used.
It is quite possible to install equipment on AIO for ER missiles as well. Yes, there are no photos of MR\ER rockets being used by AIO at this time. But the complex was adopted in 23?. After all we are playing the game and it is likely to give other missiles to balance between SLM and AIO.
Also on the Rafale website there is information about “modernization” of the complex according to the customer’s wishes

By the way, the developer has already canceled the topic with wrong missiles on AIO and that there are placeholders standing there

Personally, I’m hoping for MR/ER missiles so that there will be an adequate response to the future BUK-M3 and NASAMS. Either we will all have to wait for the developer to give the SPYDER complex like IRIS-T is now)

Finally got myself on Dev to try it out, and whilst it’s obviously extremely WiP (to the point of being barely functional and impossible to judge) - What I can is, good lord this thing looks awesome.

Whoever did this model absolutely cooked.

No idea how finished the actual drive handling is but it feels pretty good. Surprisingly agile for its size and great at going uphill.

You know what I ain’t even playing thing in GRB, I’m going to become a full time custom battles EC map trucker.

ER and MR are vastly different, Spyder SR and ER launchers (that the Spyder AIO carries in game) are capable of using Derby ER

They’re genuinely going to have to put the 3rd person camera for this thing up at ship bridge height or something lmao.

Isn’t not just the launch rack blocking your view that’s an issue, the radar tower itself completely obstructs your view forward when zoomed in.

It’d be awesome if they gave Spyder that really sweet new launch sound effect Edle is getting (or just a new effect in general).

The one it currently has sounds exactly like Chaparral, and I don’t need that kind of audio trauma callback to our dark times lol

But there is no photo of the installation for ER standing on AIO.
But I would be glad to see ER in the game

Yes, the Derby-ER fits in the smaller launcher, even the manufacturer has it listed in their official brochure

Large launcher uses the Derby-MR and Python-MR

If it can be confirmed that AIO can also use MR, then they will not be worse than SLM.

The boosted missiles are not carried by the AIO, nor can it be carried to begin with on it’s launcher

Not exacly true
Python 5 has upgraded airframe to have less drag and probably pull harder but its very difficult to find info about it
Its also lighter by 15 kg and has larger span

What forbids to put this container on the AIO, if the brochures of the Rafale say that it is possible to put these missiles?
Unfortunately, there are no photos with other installations, but this does not mean that there is no such possibility, just the customer in the person of Israel wanted otherwise.

Yes it is, but the launcher is vastly different. Just because it is a SPYDER doesnt mean that the SPYDER AIO can have them

It never, ever had such launcher. We should be happy it got its 8 launcher box ingame to begin with

Be happy (Be patient, because you’re not even a competitor to the aim-120c).
Obviously, it will be a very weak anti-aircraft gun if everything stays as it is
Without the derby spyder missile buff, you don’t have to swing until something adequate is introduced
While the Germans got 16 launchers, effectively hitting at 20km+
It’s like being happy for the Swedes that they were given an anti-aircraft gun that won’t shoot down anything within 7km
