Spitfire MKXVIIIe needs to 5.3 or add 150 octane fuel

this diagonal line means neither will go below their respective line even if you turn as hard as possible, and they have an identical turn time

Ki-84 will also overheat after a few minutes

At low altitude it is matching the Ki-84 in turn time. Do you understand this?

And the LF Mk9 should be 6.3.

N1K1-J is much slower than both of these and turns no better. It also has the lowest ammo count per gun of all three.

As I mentioned, Spitfires are pretty hard to keep its energe there, especially MK18 is the heaviest one, that graft shows their turn rate at diffrent speed but doesn’t show how fast they will reach it, after 1 or 2 rounds, MK18 is pretty hard to recover the energy.

Do you understand what is manually controll the engine? Ki84 could use only 20/20% Radiator to keep the speed over 570, but MK14 will drop to 560KM even lower.

I mean it can climb higher and then be faster. Low-alt kI84’s PTW ratio is better than MK18, when they are in a low-speed dogfight, Ki84 could use this advantage. The key way is force spitfire lose its energy as fast as possible, eventhough for the first or 2nd round, that might little bit dangerous for Ki84

And then we got lots of planes that need to 6.0-6.3

Only at high speed, after that it’s pretty even. Losing speed faster when you turn harder is not a bad thing either, you can easily stick behind the other plane.

Ki-84 will need way more than 20% lol

Man, just shoot the other guy. Mk18 already turns harder and can sustain the same turn time at a lower speed with smaller radius. Or if you want to play energy stay up high where his engine doesn’t work.

Yes, and the solution is not to move perfectly fine planes down. The Mk18 is perfectly fine and on-par with one of the best 5.7s (that actually belongs at 5.7).

How can I find instantenous turn rate on that chart?

N1K1 guns are damn good, though
Type 99 Mk2 has insane long range performance and belts are better than Hispano’s.

But yeah, the plane itself is meh

Instantaneous is the highest bold line. The little diagonal one is sustained.

Eh, they’re just Type 99s, and you only get 100rds per gun. Hispanos have been hitting amazingly hard after the last few buffs to them, easily top 3 right after AN/M3 and M2.

The energe keeping not only due to its turn rate, but also needs to include the weight and the drag. As I said MK18 might able to turn faster; however that is not enough to catch ki84.

Now you can even use 15%-18% and never get overheat there lmao.

I want, but that is hard, you know, Griffon engine Spitfire is too heavy and hard to control at low speed, and the KI84 target is to force MK18 drop into a low-speed dogfight and then everything is done(I hate now the ARB only has 25mins and most of battle happenes under 6km)

Maybe MK18 is better to get a lower BR at GRB at first, like Seafires MK47, because there is no chance to get high alt dogfight LOL

Hispanos have dogshit belts. Type 99 Mk 2 is one of my favourites. The only N1K1 with Type 99 Mk1 is the floatplane one I think.

The most painful thing is the SAP, it is pretty useless, but most of belts has it, I wonder if Gaijin will allow to have AP/HEI belts in the future
