u have to be joking… tier 2 is ok for u?!
Yeah, Spitfires are pretty solid, whilst this one will probably be weaker than most, will still be kinda fun. Also useful in naval for capping points
Spitfire on the sea? Isn’t that a Seafire
Nah, need a carrier for the open water, thats the Seafire. Floatplanes are better for rivers or lakes. So Lakefire? Riverfire?
Bayoufire, Lagoonfire, Creekfire, Streamfire, Vernal Pondfire.
As said above, a good event vehicle choice. A prototype that is based on a common type, making it somewhat unique, yet familiar.
It’s a Spitty McFloatfire
Yes. Definetly this. Official name change requested
lol, gonna call it that from now on
Dont try to take off from a runway in a floatplane
might be more about the… awkward… symbology…
Dear gaijin
Would you please rehost this event some other time for the reason that I had been unable to play much from school exams and army cadet expeditions and parades
Thanks for taking you time to read this please consider
A Mk5b with a very cool livery as well, for some reason I really it
Really a 100% win
There is this wierd bug or sm idk… that when you try to land/cut off floats at around 360-380 km/h that the plane just explodes instantly or you rip the propeler and then even if you try land it explodes instantly…

at below 350 it stops without cutting the floats but it doesnt seem to like wanna repair or rearm the plane XD basically making it stuck-- I guess its too high for it to rearm?

Making any form of landing or attempt to take off floats without water rather suicidal…
Please fix. 🙇🏻♂️
That is rather fast.
(I use Knots so will convert for that and then convert back)
That is about 200kts, Landing flaps rip at 140kts or 260 km/h
So by the time im actually touching down, id be aiming for around 100-120kts (so around 180-220 km/h)
So maybe try landing slower?
Edit: Just tried it to be sure, succesfully landed without any damage at 80-100kts
Though there is ultimately the issue of landing a float plane on land and the inherrent limitations of that for ARB. I think they need to add air respawn for floats (like non naval aircraft do with carriers)
Well the thing is I more so wanna rip my floats off since it also sometimes dont repair me when I land with the floats on and to combat that isnt naval battle the floats are useless to me.
When I rip my floats with A6M2-N or N1K1 pr others the floats rip easly at even 250-300 km/h and even if I over do it and break my prop it doesnt explode like spitfire. And doesnt rip at below 200 km/h to safely land on water. But idk Spitfire floats are just wierd as they rip only at above 350 then theres range of 360-380 where the plane just wierdly tilts forward uncontrolably and explodes and then above 380 where you safely cut off the floats - which is sometimes hard to achive with shorter runways. So ig just lowering the rip speed of the floats to same like A6M2-N would be great so people that dont know the speed they can safely cut off floats dont be exploding like that or just remove the buggy range of 360-380. It is still risky to cut off floats for ppl that dont have the experience but with spitfire float its kinda suicidal sometimes.
And while I was at it. N1K1 last time I played it has ridiculously low speed to rip its wings. Idk any other plane that rips its wings so easly…
floats on the vb got strengthened so you need a faster speed to rip them off now… making it harder to do so.
