Spitfire Mk Vb Floatplane: Going Full Circle!

ngl. this one would have been perfect for April fools.
Still a very noice addition lmao.
Did not have the return of nigel on my bingo card for this year.

That spitty sure plays a mean pinball.

Did you testdrive it and started on airfield instead of on water?

If it's a bug.

You can bug report it here: Gaijin.net // Issues (just search a bit first so that you don’t report something that is already reported and known about)

A guide on how to report bugs can be found here: ([Navigation] Technical Knowledge Base | War Thunder Wiki)

spitfire mk5b at 0.7 lower BR with breakable floats, this is exactly what 2.3 planes need to face

Right now in a big discussion with my dad, which version of the spit was the first with Hispano’s ? mkV, or before ?

Mk2B I think

Meh, 30k point 6 times is too much for a 3.3 rank 2 vehicle

The 19th Squadron had some prototype Mk1b’s with Hispano’s during the Battle of Britain

u have to be joking… tier 2 is ok for u?!

Yeah, Spitfires are pretty solid, whilst this one will probably be weaker than most, will still be kinda fun. Also useful in naval for capping points

Spitfire on the sea? Isn’t that a Seafire

Nah, need a carrier for the open water, thats the Seafire. Floatplanes are better for rivers or lakes. So Lakefire? Riverfire?

Bayoufire, Lagoonfire, Creekfire, Streamfire, Vernal Pondfire.

As said above, a good event vehicle choice. A prototype that is based on a common type, making it somewhat unique, yet familiar.

It’s a Spitty McFloatfire
