Ground is the most popular mode in the game. By far.
However, more people play top-tier air than top-tier ground. Ground is well distributed. It is popular at most BRs, and has something to offer everyone no matter what they fancy. Without the shiny new toys, air would lose even more population. So yes, revamping maps like Stalingrad and (previously) Abandoned Factory, is (and has) going to benefit a large portion of the War Thunder community, whether it is played at top-tier or not.
Again, it’s exactly what the other nations have to use.
The USSR is spoiled beyond belief with their Kh-38 and something like the Kh-59 is a lot more balanced.
It’s wishful thinking on my end, but the Kh-59 should be replacing the Kh-38 (when applicable) and the Kh-38 should be removed until other nations have compareable weapons.
Not at all. I want you to stop whining because you’re not directly benefiting from map changes to a map that most of ground certainly does see and play. Anyway, I’m happy, you do you.
The HMG of the D.XXIII are already in-game, the 13.2 mm Akan m/39A machine gun, which is called the 13.2 mm FN Browning machine gun in the files, it’s a HMG made by FN herstal in Belgium.
There are 10 vehicles in-game that have this gun, and it’s one of the best HMG’s in-game.
The 7.92 mm FN-Browning M.36 No.3 machine gun is also already in-game, as can be seen on all Dutch 1930s airplanes in WT:
