I’m excited to see where the Hawk 200 will be placed and also excited for the Cheiftain 900.
The rest of the incoming vehicles are meh. (also couldn’t care less for any Helicopter additions, just more ways for ground players to be griefed.)
What was nerfed about it? The comically low/non-existant drag being corrected? Aerodynamically speaking it’s the best missile to use in BVR against an uncooperative target
Telling forum members to shut up is against ToS btw.
And for America off the top of my head:
T14, T1E1, T1E1(90), T26e5, T26e1, T34, T30, T29, T32, T32E1, T58, T92, T54E1, T54E2, XM-1(GM), XM-1 (Chrysler), XM975, XM246, EFV, 120S, RAH-66, RDFLT, HSTVL, and these are just some of the tanks I can like of off the top of my head.
So what were you saying?
Nor was IS-7 serialized, but it wasn’t a prototype anymore. They dropped the production due to cost.
T-72M2 isn’t anymore than a modification taking existing parts, which literally was made for production, just nobody bought it.
Confirmed that on stream. The Saab J 21 and Fokker D.XXIII just happen to look similar, but that’s mostly coincidence. The Fokker D.XXIII was designed by Marius Beeling, while Saab (Svenska Aeroplan Aktiebolaget) was independently tasked with developing an interceptor for Sweden.
That said, since the Fokker D.XXIII first flew in 1939, it’s entirely possible Saab engineers were aware of it, or at least of other similar twin-boom like the BV 138, De Schelde S.21, and experimenting with pusher-style projects From when doing their own studies. Saab had been exploring fighter concepts since the late 1930s
My advice. Amramms are far better beyond 6 miles vs an R-77 carrier, but under 6 miles the R-77 carrier will likely win, of course you can add in potential mistakes xyz.
I’d still rather take an Aim-120B over an R-77-1 I think the biggest reason why people hate it is the Su-30SM has a great radar, thus being able to make good use of all its aams
Okay mate. Anything to actually add or just gonna be that guy?
Also when R-77-1 was introduced it was comparable stats wise to the Aim120B, that’s not a debatable fact. they had been shown side by side the drag coefficients and such to be almost the same.
The massive difference was in the close range capabilities of R-77 due to the ability to thrust vector.
I am assuming since there have been changes to both missiles since then they have changed in what is more effective.
Tell me why
How can it have faster time to target? they go the same speeds ? or does it have substantially better acceleration?
The guidance time is an extra what , 40 seconds more than the Aim120 B on the R77-1 as it has 120seconds compared to 80.
Ofc the extra G limit but that also causes the missile to bleed more speed the harder it turns so it’s not all bonuses.
Yeah I was wondering that, the BTR-82AT in game is not the BTR-82AT we all know and love, furthermore it’s in the TD line which further incentives me not to grind it
Much stronger booster compared to AIM-120, so yes to the better acceleration. Guidance time is irrelevant as the R-77-1 needs that to go its stated max range. But yes, higher G limit is a double edged sword.
