Sovetsky Soyuz: Red Oceans

Yeah they can’t beat the bias allegations with this one.

Basically, these are the so-called “supercharged” fake shells that the Soyuz were purportedly using. The SAP alone basically outclass most AP shells due to pen + stupidly high filler, and the AP shell has more pen at 10 km than most shell has at point blank range.

For comparison, here’s Yamato’s available shells. Mind you that Soyuz were to have twice the rate of fire of Yamato.

A partially completed BB with at least somewhat realistic stats. What I just saw in dev stream is pure Stalin’s wet fantasy. That thing has more explosive filler in 406mm AP shells than Yamato has in her 460mm AP shells. Soyuz’s shells are also about 100kg lighter than Iowas 406mm shells, yet have about 6kg more explosive filler and have the same penetration.

Soyuz’s armor is also on par with Yamato’s armor despite Soviets having no technology and industry to produce half the armor we saw in game.

What is this thing running on, Soviet magic?

Almost 40kg of TNT equivalent in an AP shell is actually crazy. And I won’t even get into its armor. Some people are hyped for “the big 3” finally coming, Iowa, Bismarck, Yamato, lots of people kinda scared of the Yamato but they don’t realize this Soviet fantasy will actually run the show lmao.

I am actually in awe, I expected many things from Gaijin, I expected them to make Soyuz an Iowa equivalent or something, but holy shit. She will actually give Yamato run for her money if she enters the game in this configuration. This is wrong on all kinds of levels.

i can also guarantee you these shells will be magically more accurate than the competition as was the deal with the kron.

yeah nah the soyuz is looking like it will actually destroy the show, 420-375mm belt, fast guns with almost the same performance as yamato all the while vanguard doesnt have its supercharge shells, no 6crh shells and possibly the same accuracy issue (if oxy’s words of “its a very accurate gun” to be believed, then id love to see what they were referring to.)

It’s because Yamato’s shell ingame has about 10 kg less filler than irl. Navweaps recently made horrible mistake by typo, and Gaijin recklessly use it as stats in game.
So 460 mm Type 91 APC should have 10 kg more filler than now, and lower pen(about 40 mm at 10 km should be reduced)

thats quite funny considering they dont consider navweapons a valid source

then that means that soyuz’ ap shell will actually have better performance at 10km than yamato LOL

Ahahahah paper soviet ship, that never builded by soviet have GIGA shell better than iowa(shell 1945 year) and yamato. And more explosion. And SAP have GIGA pen for SAP and more exp than HE.
Of course Gaijin, of course!!

Of course, I’m totally sure that Soviet engineers — with zero experience and even ordering destroyers from Italy — would’ve suddenly built a mega battleship just like that.
That gun did actually fire, but it wore out very quickly and had low accuracy. It’s extremely overperforming

Not only Soyuz but Roma and Iowa also will.

Yamato’s shell is light shell for 18 inch, and have too many explosive filler, which are definitely a bad factor when calculating penetration.

We must demand nerf this fantasy ship. Nonsens. Stalin paper will kill random.
I want buy Gneu for Bismarck, but stop this deal after see Bismarck nerfed pen and this paper monster.

Lol. Lmao even. This is the same company that didn’t approve of bug reports using actual military documents. The hypocrisy.

According to the Dev server gameplay experience, the Sovetsky Soyuz has a very deep ammunition depot, and its warheads and launch kits are extremely small. Its ammunition depot is almost separated from the hoist, and the 1928 ammunition penetration depth is almost the same as the MK8, but the explosive power is more than twice as high. Sovetsky is even slightly faster than the iowa in terms of loading speed, and the iowa’s warhead is inside the hoist, while Sovetsky is separated from it. There is no doubt that iowa is not as good as Sovetsky in the game. The USSR undoubtedly became the strongest navy in World War II

Probably because it’s using fake stats.

At the expense of the Italian tech tree? They got the same vehicles…

I hate to break it to you, but Russian weapons almost always employ a higher explosive charge due to the compounds used.

Also did you notice the Soviet and the Japanese vessel are 8.7? Meanwhile others are 8.3 if not 7.7?

No. Italy was left with only a singular top tier ship at the time, Italy still only has 2 top tier ships. Guilio Cesare aka Novorossiyisk would complete that.

Particularly as Russia could’ve gotten Selvastopol, Kron and Stalingrad for a full lineup.

It was at Italy’s expense

The intense level of anti Russian statements is just insane.

The Germans and USA owned naval for a long long time. Now Japan, maybe followed by USSR, USA, Germany and so on will be quite strong.

Again, would you rather have seen anti ship missiles from missile cruisers?

No, it indeed was not, Italy isn’t “missing” ships that were given to USSR, they have them, perhaps in a slightly different configuration, but there is a reason they are still updating the game…

No. Italy has the same class of ship. But not the same ship. They both belong to the Conti di Cavour class. Leonardo da Vinci was sunk in 1916 and would not be top tier worthy.

This leaves only conti and guilio cesare. Italy has conti. Russia had no need of Guilio when Italy only had one top tier which was Conti. Russia had as I have listed three ships that were 7.0 worthy and were actually Russian. Guilio should’ve gone to Italy when it would’ve helped complete their lineup along with Francesco caracciolio.

Let’s stick to the facts here

Explain to me, how Russia getting Guilio when they had their own options, and when Italy the nation that actually built the ships, only had 2 options to complete their line up, is not at Italys expense.

This isn’t some anti Russian hatred. They just didn’t need it and when gaijin fully well has a rule that the same ship won’t appear in multiple refits/trees then there was no excuse to give it to Russia

I am not against unfinished warships, if this wasn’t clear by the essay I wrote here yesterday. I am however against ships that literally seem to defy physics, reality of their time and ones that are seemingly pulled from some propaganda. I don’t know why it’s so hard for you to understand this.
