South Korean Ground Forces Tech Tree

Don’t know what you’re smoking but Yugoslavia has domestic stuff from rank 1 to rank 7/8 as well as way more than 2 domestic planes. Also why criticize Visegrad as a multinational tree when people are already having to combine SK and NK to justify an anemic tree that could maybe start from rank 4.

The US doesn’t need it. You talk about adding SK to US to “free up resources” but all you are doing is taking away resources for adding domestic US equipment.

Yugoslavia, from my admittedly cursory research, has even less tanks the S. Korea and is no longer extent, and while I admittedly have done even less research on it’s successor states

And it shows by you not knowing what you are talking about. Yugoslavia has more than enough vehicles especially in the Ground TT to make a fully fleshed out not only with largely domestic vehicles but also extensive modifications on the few foreign vehicles that they do operate from Tier I to Tier VIII

Visegrad isn’t a nation, rather an alliance of nations which has no precedent in War Thunder

You are clearly delusional to the reality of WT. We already have a precedent for alliance TT’s in the form of the Chinese TT (Republic of China and the Communist Insurgents which eventually formed the PRC), German TT (FDR & DDR) and we had these types of TT’s for a while. The proposed United Korean TT is very similar in concept to the Chinese and German TT’s

I’d rather have really thick nations having a bunch of copy-paste and gap filled TTs

That’s what you are going to happen to the former by doing the latter through adding pointless subtrees

The whole “Thick TT” thing is something we should not be actively be encouraged at all. If a TT’s is Large but is filled with unique designs with the Copy n Paste designs being the exception then great. Otherwise having large TT’s for the sake of having large TT’s is flawed on a conceptual level, it just makes grinding it [in the perspective of a more casual and/or F2P player] more tedious for no good reason other than to pad it out as well as the addition of the TT let alone the subtree completely pointless.

Finally the addition of any Subtree to either the US or USSR is not only unnecessary but detrimental to both the host nation and the subtree nation. Its not only denies a line as well as an entire series of vehicles, the addition of the South African, Hungarian and Benelux TT’s are perfect examples since it denies the UK a LT line, Italy and France for another Fighter or Strike fighter line while a whole bunch of unique South African, Hungarian, Belgian and Dutch designs get left behind even including designs that reach the production line and no the “MuH StReTcHeD ReSoUrCeS” argument cannot explain this on it’s own if anything it makes it worse by giving Gaijin an excuse to siphon resources away from adding more unique content

TL:DR: Subtrees 4/5ths of a time are a total land/data waste for a TT that rarely makes the Host TT any more engaging to play or even alleviate any issues with the Host TT in any meaningful way

As a subtree yes, as a full stand alone would be a no for me. Just to little options.
But it would probably be a nice addition as a japanese sub tree

There are Yugoslav tech tree proposals for aviation, ground, naval and helicopters, so I recommend you have a look.
I don’t wish to be rude, but it’s not the smartest of moves to criticize a country as an option when you haven’t looked into them properly despite the readily and easily available information that has been compiled by the community.

I Agree, I believe North and South Korea, should have there won separate Tech Trees, independent from any other nation.

I am a Korean user of War Thunder. This is absolutely true. Foreign users do not know much about Korean and Japanese history. If Korea appears as a subtree in the Japanese tree, this will lead to a huge controversy and controversy in Korea and Japan. Also, Korean users He will leave War Thunder. In the first place, the War Thunder staff already knows, so it is very unlikely.

I am a Korean user who plays War Thunder. First of all, Korean users and users from other countries also seem to have very high interest and expectations for the Korea tree. So it seems that the Gaijin staff are delaying the Korea tree a lot to meet those expectations. I hope that it will be updated safely and safely as soon as possible. Both Korean and other users will want it. I will be satisfied even if a tree like Israel comes out.😑😑😑

The rumors do point to a subtree for Japan this year, likely in the November update.

Hopefully once that is added the whole South Korea debate will die down and they can just get a combined tree.

I don’t understand because of the translation. So the subtree for Japan is not the Korean tree, right? This is a story about Korea Tree coming out alone, right?

No worries, translation can be very difficult.

Japan is planned to get a subtree that is not Korea, but other countries more friendly with Japan. When that subtree is added, people have no more reason to suggest Korea for Japan. I prefer Korea as an independent tree with South Korea and North Korea combined.

Very korean of him to disregard people existence entirely because they don’t conform to the masses stupid opinion.

this makes even less sense brother. ASEAN if anything should be a subtree to CN or JP, not being a part of some kind of botched united asia tree.

Hello,i have a question does all the vehicles that apear on this tree have an individual suggestion?

Adding Korea as a sub-tree for Japan is almost impossible. The next most likely proposal is a United Korea tree, which I don’t think is enough to interest gaijin because it could become a second Israeli tree. Even if it is implemented, it will be a long time away. I think there needs to be some other attractive element to implement the United tree soon.

Agree with that…but then there are somepeople that say this but then say it is fine when USSR get Poland and Czechoslovakia.

According to them USSR should have 1/3 of the globe

Would be cool to have South Korea in WT, would also mean a TT K9 Thunder instead of the Swedish VIDAR premium, my only concern is where would it go? I don’t want to see another half tree like Israel ever being added again, nor do I want another country getting shafted as a subtree when they have the potential to be a full tree, it would also be more controversy than its worth putting korea with Japan or china seeing as Korea has a very unpleasant history with both.
