fact that you want a SAAF skinned Mirage F.1 is not a problem for me,… but what you think of those is erroneous.

if you want another look at the EMD AÏDA 2 radar, it seemed to be in game already - Mirage Milan is equipped with it.
it’s is only a Gun ranging radar (similar to the one on-board Etendard IVM,… that i know of because i did the bugreport allowing it’s implementation,…)
Not in service, but U-Darters too, but just for tests or/and very limited use before the Cheetah C was fully introduced
(Not 100% sure if the latter is a U-Darter)
Also not in service, but South Africa also planned on using R-73’s (planned to be designated V3P), but ended up not buying them. These were not only fitted on the one off Super Mirage F1, but also on some Mirage F1CZ’s, mainly for testing but also had some base flights iirc
I don’t remember seeing anything regarding radar upgrades either since the first day I started to look at South African stuff with their F1s. The CZ should still have the same radar as it had since delivery, meanwhile the AZ just had a ranging radar, which cannot be used for radar locking, yea
The AZ is not an interceptor, its main purpose of the variant was literally to be used for ground attacks, with the other missiles just being there for defense
I mean, the A literally means for attacker if I’m not mistaken
