Apparently someone forgot about how people on the forums were nearly unanimous about how good the ADATS was.
Back in 2023, prior to Pantsir. You can look it up.

I think they wanted to add a better missile to the worst performing jets in RB, but didnt wanna fix the AIM-120A/B because thatd improve a bunch of other jets at various BRs

Mig27K’s were orbital doming ADATS as far back as Dec 2021 lol
It was a great SPAA but then its BR was raised, the amount of fragments and the blast radius were reduced. Now it is just a SAM that can shoot at 3 km.
Careful, you’ll have all the US mains crying that the F-15E/I is terrible because they cannot roleplay the (obviously fake and inflated) 104-0 KDR.

They also nerfed the missiles and radar before giving it the SPAA classification. Oh, and the British one didn’t even have camouflage on it for the longest time either, meaning if you wanted winter camouflage, you couldn’t get it on the ADATS (until recently, and you don’t automatically unlock it if you had the amount needed, you had to start from scratch)
