Singapore Ground Forces Sub-tree

That’s the best way, but since the South Africa added to UK TT I think there already out of slot for any subtree

Maybe can add the Hunter AFV aft the Desert Warrior as UK needs a new top tier light tank.
The Leopard 2SG can be added to the Vickers Mk. 7 line.

Hello there, also a Singaporean Player and a UK Tech tree main. Although Singapore to the UK tech tree would kinda make sense it isn’t really that necessary since the UK already has very strong lineups where our vehicles would be.

It’s one of the US’s closest allies militarily, the most prolific user of the eagles, falcons, and Skyhawks, and supplied with their equipment since the early 70s. It’s an independent nation tech tree, not a potential subtree for fricken China. If we were talking about a non western subtree for Israel then I agree, but it’s Israel which is more than deserving of the aircraft it used.

China does not need Leopard 2s, more F-16s, F-15s, or F-35s even. There would be nothing wrong with Israel which primarily uses western equipment getting even more western equipment.

Well, I mean, China really doesn’t need a Sub TT; there are still more than enough domestic vehicles to be added. That said, if a Sub TT is truly desired, Bangladesh and Pakistan do already exist in the TT and would be better options.

Can we cease this “eastern” or “western” equipment talk already.

As if Italy doesn’t have a whole line of Soviet/Russian aircraft. What “diversifies” the tree is a good sub-tree, according to the developer.

Which, admittedly, was a major mistake on Gaijin’s part. Ignoring actual Hungarian aircraft for Soviet C&P. The Hungarian “Sub TT” (if you can even call it that) is probably one of the worst examples of a Sub TT in-game at the moment, and not to mention a rather unusual choice for an Italian Sub TT.

The idea of Hungary in the Italian TT was rather old, created when mockups could be added and cold war stuff only started to appear in the game. The idea wasn’t bad, it would allow to make kinda “minor axis” TT with less copypaste of American vehicles as it was in the case of purely Italian TT.
Then Hungarian subtree still remained a worthy idea inside the community, although it was Hungarian-Romanian subtree (it’s kinda like that currently, but the role of Romania is minimal unfortunately), Hungary would bring a lot of designs in WW2 period (V-4, Toldies, Turans, Zrinyi), provided a heavy tank (Tigris) and a meta top tier MBT (2A7HU), while Romania could give multiple designs in coldwar-modern era (TR-85M1, TR-125, CA-95, MLI-84), some WW2 additions (TACAMs, Mareşal) and significant amount of stuff in other areas (IAR fighters/attackers/helicopters, few destroyers classes and multiple armored coastal vessels). Gaijin unfortunately decided to go by an easy path, mostly copypasting already available models from other nations, like “your gaps are filled, shut up already”.

China has no military equipment relation with Singapore as Singapore’s military is mostly western.

He say military EQUIPMENT relation 🤦

Yeah, that’s honestly my problem with it, so many interesting or unique vehicles they could have added, and instead we just get all Soviet C&P for the Air TT and 3/4 for ground with a couple WWII tanks scattered in. Quite the lackluster Sub TT as is (ditto with Romania)

Since most ppl narrowed down that Singapore tech tree should go to either Japan or Israel. Which would be a better choice overall?

In my opinion

Even though adding Singapore to Japan is a better choice than China, But considering Singapore’s past experiences with the Japanese would still make putting Singapore in the Japan tech tree a controversial choice.

But for Israel, Israel have provided Singapore help & weapon systems like the AMX-13 & Centurions, even the “Singapore Armed Forces” is modeled after the “Israeli Defense Forces”.

So in my opinion Singapore TT should go to Israel since Singapore’s military relationship is significantly stronger with Israel than Japan.

Nonetheless, I’m pretty sure it’s clear that Singapore have a strong military relationship with Israel judging from their equipment & history.

Oh I know it, just not the best sourcing is all lmao
