the bmpt is not overpowered. you are simply just bad. and dont like the fact a t72 gets to have light tank armorment.

I only hold W while playing the BMPT and maintain a positive KD in the premium by a significant amount. In the stock BMPT tech tree, which I have never fully grinded out, I maintain a positive KD using AP-I rounds while holding W. That’s extremely telling.
yea and i stay hulldown and snipe with atgms. its not broken. a single leo2 HE shell can overpressure you with its 40~ pen
Because historical pen charts don’t use the same unified criteria.
There’s different standards for different countries and attempting to equalize them is a pretty difficult task.

The Leopard 2 HE shell doesn’t have nearly enough penetration to go through the top of a Terminator. Hell, even the Israeli M339 shell isn’t even capable of it.

questioning one capability to objectivley asses vehicle performance is anything but off topic when it comes to balance discussion.

your assesment is massively questionable, since even my IS-2 stats, tank i havent played for good 5 years or so, has better stats.

As long as it can soak up penetrations to it’s sides without much trouble and be an absolutely busted hull-down monster, it is.
I mean… You’re the one claiming the BMPT is fine…
I’m not sure why the IS-2 Mod.'44 is being seen as anything less than a niche heavy tank, it’s reload rate alone makes it pretty non-meta, even if I do enjoy playing it on a personal level.
Given it’s crippling reload, it’s absolutely justified in having high penetration and high lethality, nerfing that would simply make it belong at an even lower Battle Rating.

it works ingame more often than you think. smiply SHOOT the ammo belt or the missle. over half the time u ammorack the tank

When I play my Merkava Siman 3, I bring 18 HE shells. These 18 HE shells are significantly stronger than the Leopard HE shell. I have drained said 18 HE shells on hull-down BMPTs countless times.
You don’t know how overpressure works in this game. The roof of a BMPT is between 60 and 80mm thick. HE shells need to have at least 60mm radial overpressure pen to get through it in the majority of spots.
