Silver Lion multiplier and repair cost talisman

@Morvran
If an SL Talisman gave more than premium you’d have to make it notably more expensive than premium vehicles for fairness to premium vehicles, if it’s the same then the combined price of the RP and SL Talismans have to equal the premium vehicle price.

I have no opinion on whether this should exist or not.
My posts are only here to tell you guys what the costs will be.
If a standard Talisman is 2800GE at rank 7, then the SL one needs to be ~6500 or more to equal the Wolfpack price as an example.

Actions have consequences, and if you guys want tech tree premiums, they have to cost the same as actual premiums.
If you want better than premiums, they have to cost more than actual premiums.

These are not my opinions. This is basic action-consequence relationship for economics in video games.

It says that premiums only get a 50% more SLs from being a premium, but the SL rewards are doubled.

Lightning F53 for example has an SL reward of 1140% where as the Lightning F6 is 570%.

So whatever the increase the SL Talisman should provide, it should match what is gained by a premium. Whatever that might be.

However it would still only cost the same as an RP talisman

Why?

Why does an increase SL gain, without the RP gain, or lowered repair cost or research effeciency bonus make it better than a premium?

Both purchased together make it a premium, so the combined price has to be the same as a premium vehicle.

And since you can’t increase the cost of standard Talismans, that means you have to introduce the SL Talisman at a higher cost.

Why?

Premium still comes with other bonuses such as:

  • Reduced Repair cost
  • Increase research effeciency range
  • No stock grind

RP Talisman would most likely still remain the most valuable bonus and yet it doesnt cost all that much. With the GE cost you are proposing for an SL Talisman it would render it totally pointless.

It should cost the same amount as the RP Talisman, if cost the amount you are proposing, you might as well add a feature to turn any vehicle into a premium vehicle with ALL of the above features.

I would personally stick a SL Talisman straight onto the Tornado GR4 to turn it into an SL printer, but at the prices you are suggesting, I might as well just buy the Tornado WTD61 and get far more value for my money

No stock grind means less RP as there’s no spading bonus RP like with standard vehicles.
That’s a sidegrade at worst.

Repair costs aren’t notable in general anymore.

Your desire for a lower SL Talisman cost won’t change the reality of game economics.
Accept reality or keep demanding the equivalent of pigs flying, that’s up to you.

I proposed nothing. All I did was tell you exactly what will happen if this feature is added.

So in short you’re just making stuff up.

No stock grind means you don’t have to play 100 matches without premium time to have an acceptably performing plane. You do lose out on a bit more RP, but not having any stock grind is wonderful.

They are in sim, and it kills the mode at certain BRs. The discrepancy between a premiums spawn cost and a spaded TT planes cost can be upwards of 5 times as much.

I really want an SL talisman because it makes so much sense, and it won’t cost Gaijin any money to give us one.
