There was a TVC ASRAAM that was catered to the US but they decided that Raytheon made the superior missile (spoiler alert it’s terrible)
Does it not have a better radar and more missiles than the f15? It’s basically a gripen with the missile count of the su27 and the speed of the f15. Would be a higher br.
Mechanical PD radar, effectively identical in total performance since the radar isn’t the bottleneck, the AIM-120s are.
Has the same or less radar missile count as F-15.
Pretty sure if the gripen had 8 aim120’s it wouldn’t stay at the same br. Flight performance matters less at top tier but it still matters.

Sire, I think Italian branch enjoyers might enjoy F-16ADF with AIM-120 which might be inferior to JAS39C or F-16C in some points…
If those furious Italian lovers want to be meta, they might just not play Italy.
According to my very own personal experience about the Italian air branch, They usually feel like a ripoff version of Germans before the “Sons of Attila” Update.
for an example, Italian F-104G shares the same BR with Western-Luftwaffe F-104G counterpart but with fewer AAM(4x AIM-9J vs 2x AIM-9J) and slightly worse ground-attacking payload.(unable to access AS-20/30 nord)
If the British main wanted to be meta, or Italy main wanted to be meta, they might just abandon their main country and climb all the way up to the American air branch. American branches are way better in overall experience and brighter future compared to minors thanks to their superpowered aerospace manufacturers and it is also historically correct.
But They choose to play the minor nation’s branch because they like to play as that country. (As myself, I like Tornados, in both IDS and ADV variants. so I climbed the British branch even though the Royal Air Force has a dimmer not-bright-future compared to the Soviets or Americans. Sound masochistic though.)

Can also mention Litening II for German IDS compared to CLDP for Italian at the same BR, while the same small difference makes premium AMX 0.7 br higher in GRB compared to the regular one.
It’s a bit more annoying with the mlu where there is no option to just grind a gripen.

Now we have JA37DI Viggens with RB99(AIM-120) as both a foldered vehicle and premium.
Then do we still not need ARH-capable F-16A in both China and Italy?
I think we can consider them as foldered ones now thanks to JA37DI.

The Di was a dumb solution to the problem and doing the same thing in Italy and China would just be annoying. You have to grind out a a-historical plane just to get to grind out an identical plane with the correct loadout. It helps no one.
Well, it might be an annoying and dumb solution just like the JAS39A/C problem
but as long as Gaijin never adds AIM-120 to F-16A of China/Italy due to
[it can’t stand against F-15C and nobody likes to play 60CM junk when there is F-16C in the USA]
I think the way of JA37DI seems to be our only option to get AIM-120 to F-16A MLU or F-16A ADF :'(
Just like SAL-limited (gelded) Brimstone which needed to get gelded to meet Gaijin’s standard for CAS weaponry.
Before JA37DI, they just never gave RB99 to JA37
or R-77 to MiG-21 Bison
because of [it can’t face against 4th gen ARH carrier] and [Players loves the current loadout of plane] :/
