Should the Panzer IV (H / J) move up to 4.0 / 4.3?

What I don’t understand is how a simple Sherman with tracks on the hull can withstand so much damage. Anyway, you’re right in a way, since the last Panzer 4 models were already at the limit of their design, which is why it ended up being a more or less decent tank, but practically just a cannon with tracks and nothing more. That said, it did have a cannon that allowed it to fight almost any enemy vehicle without any problem.

its funny that its even in the game despite not existing in any meaningful capacity

yet we have to delete flak 341 for some reason but add this in its stead

There was one vehicle. The Ostwind 2 uses the FlaK 44 which was a modified FlaK 43 to allow the guns to be mounted side by side and fed with folding clips.

This was done so two could be mounted in vehicles, which was previously not possible. The Ostwind 2 is simply the concept put into action. Mounting twin FlaK 44 instead of a single Flak 43.

as far as i know it was never built i havent seen one document proving its existance other than a train cargo list

I spoke in this thread before and as it stands i think a pz 4 is a bit too strong at its current br
But in actual fact before any br changes occur, it should be given its correct armour, it didnt have RHA frontally at all but instead FHA
This leaves it more penetrable to piercing Capped shells but stronger against non capped shells
This would leave it much stronger against the T 34 but worse off against the sherman or any other tank with APC(BC)

It would be interesting to see how it performs after the fact and it is an indisputable historical change that should really already be in the game
This btw is not armour quality or anything of the sort but an armour type

Except FHA offers basically no advantage against flat shells.

So realistically it’s armor actually gets worse.

But M61 also has more flat pen than in reality, so there’s that.
