Should the F14D get AMRAAMS?

Ik the navy trade sometimes the f14B tcs with irst or at least i think it could but I didn’t know the f-14B in game had access to irst?

I probably shouldn’t call it an irst, it’s more so a camera, but even that has been butchered yeah

Is there a bug report in the new system for this?

Yall literally used the same sources I used that proves the F14D is capable of using aim120a I’m mean did y’all bother looking at it or you just cherry picking info that works for yall motives and ignore that facts also their other vehicles in game that have weapons that they don’t even use during service and some even have less proof than what the f14D w/amraams have tell me exactly what the f14D is missing to be able to use amraams and I bet I have a source on it

Like seriously bruh you your self said “There were provisions and plans for weaponary.” And “ so it meets the suggestion criteria.” Their is the same amount and prove for f14D w/amraams

What I would like to see implemented is a F14D(r) with aim9m,aim7p,aim54c+ at 13.0 and a premium F14D with aim9m,aim7p,aim54c+, and Aim120A at 13.3

Fixing the phoenixes would be ideal as well

Yup but to tbh fixing the g load also includes other missiles that also use btt so who knows if it will actually make a difference when btt includes other missiles than just the aim54 witch is why I think the f14D with AMRAAMs will be balanced at 13.3 or wither the de compression br is at I assume all rank 8 aircraft will be moving up a br hopefully for decompression

This answer is regarding the Yak-141 prototype. Which without its planned weaponary, would have nothing at all. So the comparason is not the same to the production F-14D which has all of itd actual weaponary.

As we already mentioned, AMRAAMs were tested on an experimental F-14A. We dont have any plans for AMRAAM on the F-14D.

We also have to consider the BR of the vehicle.

So? The f-14D still fits yall requirements of “There were provisions and plans. Stop trying to cherry pick plus yall didn’t even give f14D aim7p and aim54c+

And I’ve already mentioned it tested stuff for the f14 in general and you should have plans for f14D w/amraams

put the f14D(r) at 13.0 without AMRAAMs and the f14D at 13.3 with aim120 that is completely balanced

This exactly what I mean yall are just ignoring the facts the f14D is aim120A capable.Yall motives shows just shows you trying to make the f-14D ass

Not to mention that was also about the su47 it’s clear as day as what you meant in that screen shot

This is pretty dishonest given that experimental F-14A wouldn’t have been able to test AMRAAM without all of the F-14D’s Avionics, making it more of a F-14D with TF-30s than an F-14A.

There should be an upgrade for the F-14A to allow it, the premium F-14D should not receive it in my opinion.

Why not the F14D at the tech tree and the experimental F14A120 (nice name, huh?) as a premium? Seems like it would fit the criteria for premiums/event vehicles much better.
And hiding that livery behind a pre-order is pretty greedy imo.

Do you have any sources that confirms it does because their isn’t anything I found other than f14A-65 that only tested the capability to carry and launch it not guided it also that it obviously only tested things for the f14 generally also that it lacked the apg71 to be able to use AMRAAMs

So shouldn’t JAGMs going to non V4.5/V6 Apaches. technical feasibility seems to be the standard now.

IIRC the A variant is what the 120s were tested on.

I do not know how this is relevant to the F-14A/D

The F14A-65-gr is a testing vehicle that tested AMRAAMs FOR the f14D the f14A-65 lacks the apg71 to be able to use apg71 unless someone has proof it did
