Should Britain receive the Indian Mirage-2000i?

The only Mirages Britain should get are the Mirage F1AZ and F1CZ (and the weird modernization project F1 with the MiG-29 engine) of the SAAF.

The planes Britain should get via India are the Tejas, Ajeet, Marut Mk.1A (and/or R), Jaguar IB/IS (and MAX if that ever materializes), Sea Harrier FRS.51 and other such British planes used (and modified) by India.

At this point it is a eight mess.

The Russian jets should have gone to the USSR tech tree, the French ones to France and the Jaguar could have ended anywhere.

Ideally a standalone Indian tree would have been ideal.

Su30mki first…

Mirage 2000H is not the variant you are specifying, thats the Mirage 2000I. H is just a normal, before -5 M2K. I is a 2000H modified to -5 Mk.2 standard with some areas being improved or other tech being replaced, which makes it more unique

id prefer the indian harrier. but if we are forced to have indian crap we might as well at least have one good vehicle

I hope you say the same for the Italian Romanian Mig 29 xD

I already said the same thing when they introduced the Hungarian subtree

Can’t have tech trees without Soviet equipment apparently though

The Su-30SM is basically the same plane as the initial Su-30MKI

We can have it, it would be great SHAR FRS.51 should come faster than Mirage 2000i.

As long as India is our sub-tree, we can have non-British-built jets in India too.
I don’t dislike the idea of adding either Su-30MKI or Mirage 2000i itself, unlike the others.

But Ehhh… can we get British-built Indian jets first?
More Sea Harriers or Jaguars as examples.

Lastly, no "move India to Israel tech-tree’ arguing ffs.
I don’t care about whether India wants their independent tech tree, but no to israel.

The British have a connection with the fuselage, Israel have a connection with missiles
In weaponry, I think we have a better connection with India than they do. :/

Not only should the British built planes come first, the domestic Indian planes (Tejas, Ajeet and a later variant of the Marut) should also come before the third-party imports get added.

Also, South Africa shouldn’t be forgotten. The SAAF has/had more planes than just the Gripen.

You might want to rephrase that

Sorry, Grammarly correction issue. My bad.
They correct somethings extremely strange and unwanted way sometimes :/

Fixed.
Sorry if you felt offended. :(

Welp the su30sm is not getting astra mk1 and astra mk2 and astra mk3, they are stuck with r77 and r77-1 (r37m in the future)

Su30mki could actually get a good medium weight missile, and gaijin wont have a excuse to butcher it by giving it crazy drag like the current r77

Other than that, a lot of upgrades comimg, prob by 2026 itself bringing new aesa radar, hmd, maws and cockpit changes

Not getting this from su30sm ( or even su30sm2 or sm3 in thr future )

Is it a sub tree now?

Already is, told 69 times atp.

It just doesnt have a dedicated line

I mean, we have yet to see if Gaijin is gonna model the Astras and the I-Derby-ER to actually be any better than whatever they have in mind for the later Su-30s.

Until those missiles are added to the game a Su-30MKI would just be a SM with a different name and maybe a more restricted A2G armament

Considering we have r77-1 and aim120c5 atp, we could expect both of them. But in nerfed state like both r77-1 and aim120c5
