All I’m saying is that an APDS Firefly isn’t unique simply because the ammunition type is missing.
And did he say that it was? APDS isn’t even mentioned in the suggestion.
Bri’ish crashout moment I guess lul
So, nothing unique about this vehicle at all then. Just 100% copy-paste. Gotcha.
Read the first paragraph of my suggestion again. Please.
I will acknowledge that this is almost completely C&P, which is why I suggested it, should there ever be an independent Benelux tech tree, where this vehicle would fit perfectly. This is all said in the suggestion. Make your point.
I’m just sick of copy-paste. TBH. Benelux is pretty much all copy-paste.
I have no issues with people wanting it or suggesting it. I just don’t want more C&P. It’s getting tiring at this point.
Benelux is mostly variants, not C&P, but people hardly accept variants as unique vehicles anyway.
I personally don’t mind it. And I have several tech trees done in ground, air and naval.
I find it handy in making decent line-ups and for having representation of a certain nation or timeframe of their service.
I want both C&P (or at least variants, because the ones we got for Belgium (m44/55) right now should have a different 3D model for storage boxes etc.), variants and most importantly more unique vehicles, even better if they were in-service.
Agreed. The historical significance of a vehicle’s service is unexaggeratably more important than if it’s unlike anything else in the game. I’d say it’s the most important factor, after just if the vehicle is even feasible for game implementation.
On that note, were all Belgian Fireflies modified or was this a one-off conversion?
That I am not sure of, but most we had were the IC variants left over from the British, who didn’t take them home. So those were modified with smoke launchers on the outside. This specific modification of the VC I’ve only seen on a couple ones on older pictures, so it certainly wasn’t one-off. Then again we only had 200 in-service of all firefly variants.
