How is saying somethings not better over blowing it?
The TTW empty (17,700kg) is 1.58, at medium load (22,000kg) it is 1.27, and finally for a full load (33,000) it is 0.85.
You will rarely use the full load, so we can say that the TTW is between 1.58 and 1.27. I dont see any exageration here, but maybe a bias from your side ?

First of all intake losses. Second of all what I said there was that it’s not the best flanker in terms of thrust to weight which is true, I doubt it’s gonna be better than the j11bg with ws10b
Yeah as you said yourself, it’s mostly the rest. And weaponry (and avionics, as proved by the eft) are balancing factors in game so they could add the J-16 soon. But again, I think it’s better to keep it for later tiers and add stuff like the J-11BG, J-15 and J-10C (Su-30MK2 can also come but it won’t be very remarkable unless it also goes to 13.3 like the premium one)

Is this with WS10D? Afaik the WS10B is exclusive to the J10B and the WS10C is exclusive to the J20, slight tangent but iirc the J10C should also come with the WS10D as well.
when might we see the j-16?
China is getting the J-10C next major, and the Su-30MKK/MK2 soon as well, so don’t expect the J-16 anytime soon. Especially since it would arguably be the best Chinese jet (with the J-15T) until 5th gen, so they should probably keep it for later

They always can add the early variant and/or not implement it loadout (like it was and arguable still is with MiG-29SMT)
As others here have highlighted before, the J-16’s pylons are not compatible with older missiles and there is no such thing as a J-16 “early”. Adding it now with old missiles would be completely inaccurate, and pointless on top of that since one of the key features about the J-16 is gonna be its weaponry
Would be like adding a F-15E with sparrows
Just be patient and wait for the right moment to add a vehicle, hurrying this type of things can’t lead to anything good

Oh alright, it’s just that you outlined a pylon next to that PL-12 so I thought you meant there was another missile on that pylon too that wasn’t very visible due to being in front of the other PL-12, so I was confused.
