It’s not necessarily a double pylon, at this angle just missiles on 2 neighboring pylons might look like a dual rack
Mate, I don’t know if you can access the CCTV news link I provided. The video screenshot is indeed hard to distinguish from the missile due to the resolution, but looking at the continuous video footage, I get the feeling it’s not two separately mounted missiles but rather a single composite pylon/rack. I don’t have my computer with me right now, but when I get a chance I’ll go into the game and see if I can recreate this angle to check the position. Or mate, you could give it a try. Note that China has two types of composite pylons for medium-range missiles, with different spacing and arrangement — I’m not sure which one it is, and the game may not be able to perfectly replicate it.

it is still just a hunch without a solid view on a pylon itself. With that in mind gaijin will only take actions if this upgrade is necessary for balance. Which might not be necessary considering flight performance and access to GNSS capable Fox-3 missiles
Like was already said, loadout restrictions.
If you want to use MRML you can only use AIM-120C-5 or Ds on your wing pylons. If you want to bring any AIM-9Ms you get locked out of the MRML and thus are limited to 8 missiles max.

Which is BS because Aim-9M shouldn’t cause any problems with clipped AMRAAMs.
The report was about Aim-120B models but Gaijin took it further and included clipped AMRAAMs.
Guess we have to wait until Aim-9X arrives.

Any good proof on that one? I don’t remember any sidewinders photos with MRMLs outside if 9X.
i have a sidewinder loaout saved, and right now clipped AIM-120 still overlaps with a sidewinder. And for MRML, being a rail launcher, it is a problem
My Aim-9M’s aren’t looked clipped with D model and iirc report clearly mentions issue appears on A/B models.
As I’ve said maybe I’m wrong and we might have to wait until Aim-9X tho.
Well, they arent because Sidewinder is shorter. But they overlap, i shoud’ve said it clearer. If MRML was an ejector it would probably be fine, but with a rail launcher AMRAAM will fly forward and take a part of a Sidewinder tail with it
Iorc amraam will drop first before launching forward so that shouldn’t be problem to begin with.
On the belly launchers, they are ejector ones. But wing launchers, and MRML if i’m not mistaken are a rail ones.

So this limitation with sidewinders unfortunately makes sense
China’s newly updated HMD is for older Chinese aircraft and J15T, capable of displaying target position in TWS soft lock mode
The new HMDs equipped on the J10C and J16 cannot do this

But targo2 also can display the target position in soft lock, why it doesnt install in game
