oh and yeah you know, the gray radome so it’s the T and not the regular one, this one is more obvious but it just means we do get the WS10 and not the POS AL-31Fs

Bro didn’t call one of the best engines in its thrust class a POS

The WS10H is a navalized WS10B ?

I was going to say that these might be PL-12A(E), but then I realized that the base PL-12 ingame also have the lines and such. The blog did mention just the J-10C getting them (I think), so maybe it gets them for a lower br? Honestly no idea at this point, dev stream is just gonna show it I guess

Do you mean weight class

they’re also the reason why the J-15 and ONLY the J-15 in the PLAAF/PLANAF fleet have been crashing

Not my problem China can’t do proper maintenance. For some odd reason said AL-31 work properly everywhere else.

It seems in Russia they cathegorised by thrust class. Maybe not just in Russia tho, i haven’t looked into this classification too much.

J-15T and 11BG probably have different radars, considering different shape of radome

Russian jets and engines do like -35 rather than 35 degrees.

what I don’t get is why on earth is the livery some weird ass hybrid of the J15T low vis livery but with that stupid red yellow ribbon stripe thing

Ah, lol. My first guess was about temperature, but i didn’t realised that Algeria, Malaysia, Venezuela, Vietnam and several African countries are located in deep Siberian tundra.

ribbon stripes are for alignment when flying in formation, you can see similar things on Q-5 and JH-7

I wonder how Gaijin will model its cockpit literally no images exists of the J-15T’s cockpit aprt from the HUD and a tiny bit of the two top panels

gif got flagged by system as “offensive” ig automod is a rafale player, heres a repost

Point being the J15T just does not have that stripe as part of the standard livery and should be removed.

To be fair many jets used in say Malaysia is more akin to MKI which did have tropical modifications, same with many others. The Chinese Su35 did have problems with the ridiculous temperature and humidity in some provinces.

IDK the Indians are the only ones treating flankers badly.
