I don’t think that was true, much like the J-20 the blocks have been made in batches with each iteration showing major improvements over time.
The real world J-11 / J-11B are distinct in that the J-11 was an assembled Russian kit with modifications and the J-11B was entire airframes indigenously produced with the batch improvements refining the design over time.
Yeah because the Type 1493 is only a minor improvement over the original N001E, right? The addition of MAWS and other ‘minor’ things, its only a rebranded SU-27SK!!!
Genuine Russian propagandist delusion, can you leave this topic already?
I never said it was a rebranded Su-27SK, that would be the earliest J-11’s which were just built from the Soviet kits. Why do you insist on putting words in my mouth?
90s AL-41 is another different engine. current new AL-41 is based on AL-31, develop started in late 90s and came out after 2000s. Later version WS-10 is comparable.
I guess you mix AL-41 up with AL-51.
As for WS-15, its design changed a lot because of new requirements so it’s hard to say.
all j-11b does is add internal ecm ( i think) redesigned wing tips for pl8 capability, rear maws and new radar and composite materials to shave like 700ish kg
su-30mkk and mk2 with pl-12, rvv-sd/ae, r73 and pl8 and a bunch of ground ordinance at 13.7. worse su27sm due to weight and worse engines.
su30mkk with n001ve and su30mk2 with n001vep, same as su27sm
since it wont get cruise missiles… yeah. although it is compatible with kh38 though so they might add it just based off compatibility. no guarantees tho
Depends on the J-11B, the earliest batch productions have quite a lot in common. Have you not seen the development of the J-7 over time? It is far better documented to say the least but the same process went on.
This is not a lunatic statement, it is truth… odd that you’d get so aggressive over it.
