Also, the cockpit and the HUD looks quite nice in my opinion.
I was afraid of the HUD block on the J11B on the other Chinese devices type J8 and J10 it is quite big :/
but the HUD block of the J11B is very clear
BVVD said that 11B will receive anti-ground weapons. I don’t remember exactly, but didn’t they test the KH-29 on it?

Doesnt help that pilots (or their POV) sits so low. Snail really need to position them higher (especially on JH-17, the “supposed” ground pounder with non existing visibility (and also update it armament, it long overdue))
and in general, he said that 11B is not yet fully completed and should receive various changes

It’s a pity that he has so few missiles. They could have given him double pylons.

Assuming the knowledge base priginally responsible for the design of such craft still exists, or was passed down then sure. But i reckon its difficult to maintain that over decades. The Su-75 for example seems a little funky by comparison to anything that originated from the Soviet era. I doubt we’ll see very much after Su-57, if we get that far in the tech tree.

In fact, not all J-11Bs do not have ground capabilities. Two J-11Bs belonging to the Test Flight Institute have conducted experiments on various types of ground precision guided weapons

Not terrible, but equivalent to aircraft we had a year ago, and when there is easily the potential to add China’s first AESA alongside the Su-30SM’s PESA
Just means that yet again, chinese air will be swept under the rug l, no dual pylons, no AESA, no outstanding features that are worthy of the 14.0 br.
If the aircraft on dev server was added back in Air superiority, then it would of been the 2nd best jet un game after the F-15C, but times have changed and we need better radars/more missiles to cope with the spam
