Shenyang J-11, J-16, J-15, History, Performance & Discussion

That makes it a tough choice. On one hand, there’s the J-10C with its excellent flight model and payload. On the other, there’s the J-11B (late), which will likely have more countermeasures but inferior acceleration and payload. That’s assuming they’re at the same BR, of course… If the J-11B (late) ends up at BR 14.7, then the choice is obvious.

I suppose they’re not all too similar in that regard

So there are some issues id like to see fixed that wouldnt change shit

  1. grab handles in the 15T´s cockpit
  2. angle the 15T´s radar in Xray
  3. Return the 11b´s GMTI and SEA modes

I think it might just be because of the wide-angle lens. The PLA Air Force really likes those GoPro-style panoramic wide-angle lenses, which makes the missile look like it’s on pylon 2. In reality, based on in-game simulated camera angles, it’s actually on pylon 4.

actually

6 x PL-10, same as PL-8(B)

my issue, missing yj91 model on pylon in cockpit view

sad

It is a pity that China does not publish weapon carriage diagrams for its aircraft.

Personally, I can name three aircraft for which the weapon loadout can be specified precisely:
JL-8
L-15
FC-31

This is from the datamines.

What do the GTM Transceiver and Illumination Transmitter changes do?

Or is it just more stuff for Air to Sea?

Reducing the angle of half sensitivity is a buff to tracking performance, transmitter power I don’t know and haven’t had a clear answer on what it does.

afaik it literally does nothing (according to the Dataminers, as the values it could change are already set or something eg detection range)

Okay i need a little help here:

The missile on the wing tips resembles the PL-10 at first glance but there is two(3?) major differences,
that being the strakes no ending in a slow angle towards the missile body but being a 90° bend (could be perspective tbf),
second being the seekerhead no being round but narrowing down first before the actual seeker (R-73/PL-8B style is what it reminds me of),
(third is seeker color so white but thats nothing new).

Somebody suggested that it might be a cheaper PL-10 version.

On SDF and Weibo ppl claimed to be either dummy seeker for training simulation or new PL10 with smaller but more advanced seeker,

7223594bgy1if2fzpkxddj206k04et8n
They look similar to the 9X shape too

dummy seekers are also either white or clear like the normal PL-10 thats the thing, someone suggested it might be a cheaper PL-10 reusing a seeker similar to the PL-8B

Doubt,China isnt in need to re use older seekers even more on a like 12 year old missile…I believe is just a dummy seeker, tho wouldnt be surprised if it received and upgrade
