It’s still really nice even without the fix.

Just out of curiosity what’s wrong with the radar? And I’m assuming you’re talking about the 11B?

Cant say i have anything negative to say about it, it’s a banger of a mec radar

60km range and 10KM vertical ACQ. Also really weird TWS as well but have no proof of that as ‘wrong’.

Ahh I see. I mostly fly CAP in GRB with my radar off and only turn it on when I engage people and it’s never past like 20km lol.

I understand how that’d be an issue in ARB tho

it’s still using copy pasted radar modes on top of literally missing the 30 degree vertical scan sector that’s LITERALLY IN THE RADAR SPECS IN GAME

It does suck without for real.

also hmd can’t look down

The old HMS on the J-11B only has -15° to +45° of elevation

J-11B still has no HUD tint or correct colour afterburner flames as of the current Dev server. If I’m not mistaken I do think they may have changed the afterburners slightly, but its still purplish-pink instead of blue. I have heard that the J-11B’s radar might be getting a buff so that’s nice at least.

They changed the flames inside the nozzles, as a part of the new afterburner effects, so the flames inside the nozzles itself is blue but not after it leaves the engine

Hoping they change it more, the bug report for it was accepted and it would be very cool to see it fully implemented.

The HUD symbology as of current is a copy-paste of what is on the J-8s lol

In real life this is what it is supposed to look like on the J-11B:

My biggest gripe with the J-11B is that ugly soviet blue canopy frame…

Oh yeah, its very annoying
I think I saw on Live skin for cockpit with nice gray colour scheme and purple canopy tint (and all reflective surfaces too, for some reasons), but cant find now

Aren’t the ws-10’s afterburners supposed to be white?

No

Most images are edited and depending on videos or photos there are both blue and the purple/orange we have in game

That’s irrelevant bc the guy asked if they should be white

Ah yeah they’re not white but you can’t definitely state that they’re blue either.

We don’t actually know for sure what its true colour is since afterburner colours can fluctuate depending on the afterburner stage, lighting ( like night can make it appear much much brighter and whiter) and also the point that @Clap6005-live mentions can cause it to shift in hue from the original image. We can’t say for sure what its proper colour is, all we can do is see that the most common colour displayed from WS-10’s afterburner is a type of blue, not far off from the kind of blue flame displayed by the Su-27SM, which currently has said blue flames in the game.
