Oh yes, there was no reaction on the forums regarding the Flakpanzer during the “no retreat, comrade” bug, which removed the armour.
T58 is not nearly as OP, has much lower playebase and sit at a BR that is really unforgiving.
Also, T58 is not beginner friendly while BMPT can be played by a monkey and will still do good.
T58 is like T20, if u suck u will do poorly, if u a good player u can schred.
I was talking about the T58…? It’s just a meme guy
My bad, i thought you were serious when you complained about the T58
Dude the t-58 has the fastest reload for a large 155mm cannon of doom.
It can be played by a monkey thanks to its great armor, and reload, combined with deadly shells.
Considering I am a Russian main, and only squeaked out a 2.88 KDr in it… that says something. My win rate is 88%
Compare it to my 4.12 KDr in the T58, which has a win rate of 75%
I think that says something about the T58 being busted as hell.
The image was the meme. T58 is genuinely op
BMPT is and was never OP because it killed everyone, its Monkey Level because its simply tanks all dmg for the whole team.
Equip BMPT with APFSDS and send this monster to 12.0 !!! Please :) ?
But it literally died the same way as any other T-series.
Playing Italy, USA, and Russia, having to face the horde of BMPTs, I rarely had any problems. Unless I was engaged by two at a time and the panic dump ATGMs.
Follow the news, when ready, we will publish it :)
Great argument considering that T series tanks with similar armor are 12.3+while the BMPT is not
T series tanks die in 8/10 oneshot by no matter what Dart into the chassi + weakspots on turret.
BMPT dies maybe 2/10 Times. Ammo is counted as “external” so u cant blow it up securely + spall liner everywhere. Especially the TT one with 5 crew. And very extreme in downtier, which happened basically every match thanks to the 250 permanent russia que. Try killing that thing with 372-408mm pen… with is the average at 10.7… lowerplate u kill 2 people most, side u cant pen properly only at 90 degree and even if u also cant oneshot it.
Theres a reason everyone played it, and its not because it was hard to play or u died quickly…
Only T series tanks with spall liner is T90M, and even that thing has less side armor + an ammo storage that is not considered “external” xD
The number of times i’ve hit the LFP on a BMPT with L23A1 and ONLY killed the driver is insane.
T-58 is busted and is a crime it can face 7.3-7.7 vehicles that can’t do crap about it on every game, it should be 8.7/9.0 I’ve seen them in 9.3 and they do well but if at least one player is playing using their hands is not so op anymore, the turm-III should also be higher in br but oh well money talks I guess BMPT however is different why on earth a vehicle with access to ammo boxes is more armored than several mbts higher in br than it and who thought it was a good idea that it could face 9.3 vehicles with apfsds barely scratching 400mm penetration and slow cannons? Even AFT-09 has a hard time and that thing in an undertiered 1000mm lol-pen machine
They finally increased the Br of BMPT, I think now the crybabies can finally rest in peace.
The BMPT is better or significantly better than the Namer is literally every metric, yet they are the same BR (only now lmao, after a month), no wonder that no one wants to play them, they are mediocre at best, and utterly abysmal in many scenarios present in current day GRB
Reminds me of bobject 279… but if there is smt they should fix asap… 7.0-8.3 germany… oh got why do they have only 20mm to fight?? 34% winrate overall for germany… whoever gets them in their team has in insane handycap.
Between addition of BMPTs and 10th of January, you played 744 games.
Out of these 744 games, you spawned BR appropriate non-russian vechile (as in, can naturally meet BMPT) around ± 10 games with 13 respawns
for combined result of 10 deaths to 16 kills.
10 games seems like awfully small sample size to base your opinion on.
Since the BMPT model is the worst we have ever seen, using a T-90 chassis that is bugged and overpowered, it only ends up increasing the battle rating of that tank. Otherwise, they would have to swallow their pride and nerf all T-80, T-72, and T-90 chassis and models.
The problem is that the BMPT will still be overpowered anyway. Then there will be another “nerf” by increasing its BR, but the real problem isn’t there. The model itself is broken. As I said, it’s much harder to swallow the truth, and it takes a lot of courage to make such a big move and admit it.
Added: In my humble opinion, it should be removed for a short period of time while efforts are focused on fixing it, and then relaunched with proper adjustments. There should also be some compensation for premium buyers. Otherwise, I don’t see how the developers can get out of the rabbit hole they created by implementing a below-average tank (in real life) into War Thunder, where it ended up becoming a god.
