SepV2 model changes

All you can do is stay optimistic and consistent. Nothing has been confirmed or denied as far as implementation, and nothing has been planned (at least in the patch notes) for a change in any way.

So it’s a possibility they’ll get a buff?

Yep. How can we French Players even exist…?!

It’s possible, especially since there have been a handful of suggestions accepted for months. It’s a matter of when. The main ones that have been accepted (afaik) are the bulkhead, turret ring, and gun mantlet fixes.

Honestly, if it means a fix, or more accuracy, I’m all for it as a US player. I want to see everyone eat from the same table

Yeah… I’ve been hearing every game that players including me complaining about the M1/M2 Abrams bring weak. And since it’s a main battle tank it should be a OP tank.

Peep this too. Missing a HUGE chunk of armor in front of the breach.

I feel like this is a very large portion of the problem, gaps in armor, a lack of polish and finish on the Abrams in a critical spot, that while most might see that as an issue, the spall generated from nothing there is massive! Good find!

Thanks! I try. I also know that the Nera plates are modeled incorrectly. There was a recent minesweeper based off the m1 that got wrecked and shows the layout.

It seems like they just keep ignoring it at this point maybe we will see fixes in 2025 or the addition of sepv3 but idk at this point complete silence from gaijin

Nera plate layout inside the armor

I honestly wonder if those two back orange plates is were the DU armor lays on US domestic armor packages.

I don’t know enough to make a guess TBH. I did search online and found this but who’s to know for sure.

all composite armor is “modeled wrong” there is no reason to modeled it “correct”

or do you want every corundum ball to be modeled in the t64

He’s wanting the added thickness taken into account. That’s what is happening. The armor plate can absolutely be added with little work

Honestly I thought this kind of cross section was part of what they have been looking for this whole time as a source to accept a change.

You got a source for that? Seriously because if it has some unclassified, public distribution backing that would probably get the Abrams its spall liners.

Edit: Going off of the original image reddit post it’s a combination of Abrams, T-64, and MBT-70/kPz-70…
