This is a strange one. Could be sod all time, or a short eternity. Not really in line with standard maintenance windows.
20-30 minutes
Assuming all goes well.
Servers back up :)

Can you drop update list? If theres one
Definitely no exocet then 😿
No clue of any changes.
😭😭
Yeah, I had linux, downgrade back to win 10
Regardless of testing just the act of putting an update on the live server can break things that were working perfectly fine in testing. Programming is really weird at times, i’ve had some odd issues caused by the weirdest things. I once had my PC freeze regularly and the windows explorer crashing from time to time, the cause was a faulty SD card in my 3D printer that’s hooked up to my PC through USB.
We should never have granted sand the capacity to act. It has decided to unbreak itself after the 5th attempt to launch it.
Complaints.
I get that, I work with software. But this is frequency is a joke, pushing it to production should not immediately present errors in calling the software’s own resources. Testing, by any sound procedure, should have caught this. Were this Debian, fair enough, Debian’s hard to support, but I am running the same OS that SteamOS is a derivative of. Should be pretty much on parity with the primary testing environment.
Assuming they’ve decided to test against the most supported distribution for this kind of software. Or test at all before pushing to production.
With how complex WT is and how ridiculously many things there are that could go wrong it’s not really that surprising that bugs happens regularly, game breaking ones are more rare but bound to occur sooner or later.
I get the frustration, i do. Linux is probably also not the biggest priority for them as i don’t think that many players are on Linux (comparatively). Not that that’s an excuse to not fix things, just that it might take a little longer if there is also other bugs on the same level of severity on other more popular OS’s at the same time.
Best you can do is bug report it (or send a crash report if you get that option), the more files they have to find the cause the better.
This is my frustration, if they didn’t advertise us on the same priority as Windows, it’s whatever. Annoying, but whatever. Or even just compensation when they do butcher the build, had it killed for about a month at one point and weren’t compensated.
But the machine has decided to spite me and work after trying to see if just going through and launching it a few dozen times would get a functional launch. Started working immediately after I wrote the last of my complaints. Computers are cursed magic. Don’t rightly know why it suddenly decided to not be failing to call its own resources, when logs are showing no other issues, but it works and I don’t want to touch it. Assuming the rule of “complain about it online for it to disappear” has happened again.
Fun little tangent on this
How is this not classified as magic?
Like; we take rocks, melt them down to thin sheets, then exploding miniscule droplets of tin which turns the droplets into miniature suns whose light is used to burn sigils into the sheets. If we then put the correct amount of lightning into the sigil inscribed rocks we can make them think for us.
I avoid hardware as the plague for this reason. Enough cursed rubbish happens in software, I don’t need to be trying to id faults in actual runework. Breaks enough as it is.
Alright everyone, let’s get back on topic
Maintenance is over, thank you for patience!
