Still at least youll probably get more jets to add to the top tier lineup.
Between now and typhoon I’m expecting 1 or 2 of these:
- Harrier Gr9A
- Tornado Gr4
- Bae hawk
- Cheatah C/D
And thats about it. I’m just hoping Typhoon isn’t years away

They wouldn’t announce it as sub tree if there weren’t plans to add even more

Gripen D won’t be very interesting in War Thunder I think. From what I understand it was purpose built for training pilots, not to make it a better strike aircraft or anything… It also doesn’t have internal cannon I think?
Should be the Typhoon then. 0 reason to add the Su-30 for years. We have better native stuff to add
No internal gun, 2 seater variant with an extra internal fuel tank.

i mean its the norm, the major nations get their big jumps in capability, then most minors are left running to catch up for a year or two, then the moment they do they have to repeat it all again,
Yeah kinda goes against the Gripens whole philosophy in the first place with the whole human interface thing. It’s just a trainer pretty much. 200-300kg heavier and no internal gun
Eh, yes and no, i believe some countries use them as service vehicles outside of their trainer role. I think brazil is one such example though i may be wrong.
