Yeah, luckily i don’t have to remember every formula, just understand what they do and why so that i can apply the correct one to the correct situation. Currently studying Mechanical engineering and material sciences. Hoping to get into something surrounding 3D printing metals and composites, there are so many new doors that can be opened in that field currently.

Great news, we didn’t get the Gripen that we should have, and in fact are stuck with another f18. At this point, might as well play the US with how few Swedish options are getting added. Just slightly peeved. Anything but giving us what would keep us on parity with the competition.
Well they are adding hornet with BOL Pods and Aim-120C-5 so thats something.
But we all know Gripen NG would’ve been better option.

Not thrilled by 120C-5. Going to make the short range of MICA even more of a joke, and compression will be even less pleasant, assuming it goes to other platforms which I would not be surprised by. Yanks won’t let anyone have American missiles without it going to their best platforms.
A Gripen NG would have been far more useful, especially as it would actually be able to engage ground targets effectively. Which the F18C we are getting does not appear to be at all good for. NG would have been better for the health of the game.
the MICA is going to remain one of the best in game missiles, there’s a damn reason france has a what 75% winrate at 14.0? The SAAF gripen is going to probably struggle even more due to the fact it’s stuck with the R-Darter for 0 reason, the Darter wasn’t even fitted to the SAAF gripen irl.

It would be nice to see the documents in order to study where they come from and how they match others in terms of the “little” available performance stats the aircraft has in open sources. Mostly since it is underperforming in some different characteristics (e.g AOA, turn rate, radar…)

I mean again its 14.0 and not foldered, who would’ve expected gaijin to tteat sweden air with any sort of love, they have actively tried to make it the worst nation for air for ever now lol. Its a joke too bad ill never use it for CAS given it cant handle whats coming this update.
Ill have to check because it should weigh less than the US F/A-18C Late and the same if not a tad lighter than the Swiss, as the Swiss and Finnish both used titanium for the Keel.
Dont get me started on what the SAAF Gripen shouldn’t have, youve received a better jet then you should have gotten to begin with. If you want a better gripen go play any other nation with a gripen aside from sweden, every other nation has plenty of other cehilces to experience and let you enjot a more wide selection of playstyles, imo Italy and Japan are the the two best air nations for different jets.
The SAAF gripen was merely something for britain to have at top tier until the arrival of the Typhoon, but there’s no reason to give it an objectively worse missile set (ahistorically) than the other gripens. South africa is a designated ground subtree, some aircraft couldn’t hurt either
You’ve kinda ignored what i said but its fine, the SAAF gripen unlike all the other gripens should be the worst both irl and in game they are the only gripen user to not update to MS20 because SA has so many financial problems. Most of their airforce was grounded for a few years until they could make a deal with SAAB.
I wont say the SAAF should get AIM 120, you have so many other aircraft that honestly i doubt the Gripen C’s will be updated again. Gaijin has found their perfect fake vehicle to balance and subsequently leave as this Frankenstein abomination. You want a good Gripen play any other nation that will get Gripens that isnt sweden that way you can get other jets youve never played.
Im not gonna list every problem ive had with the SAAF gripen since ive done that multiple times here already.

RIP my Gripen no C-5 for it he is the best plane I slap horde of skill less KH-38 slinger out of the sky.
