Well the canards are there for balancing purpose to put it loosely. Also if it did move up and not stay relative with the AoA airflow that’s going to create a massive amount of drag. FCS just allows you to pull more.
Rafale, Eurofighter and Su-33/Su-30SMs canards don’t fully deflect even if you turn off AoA and pull up hard.
Lot more details on panels and whatnot. I guess they were speed running that model when the JAS-39E came out.
Also any word on the leading edge flap report you submitted and maybe something on landing configuration? The change in canard modeling gives me some hope.
nevermind, it is there, just couldn’t see it in the pictures you guys posted before.
It is however missing the little break line in that panel. not as easy to see with this dark spot on this camo but easy to see on the 39D model.
also just noticed that the 39C is also missing it…
this is a 39C in real life for reference.
Really wish they’d stop touching liveries if their only plan is to turn them to mud. A half respectable texture they had with the prior one, and now it’s incredibly poor resolution. Somehow worse than platforms that haven’t been updated for nigh a decade.
That frustration aside, put this in the dev server section in the hope they fix the faults. Feel free to add to it, I am to rest now.
And unsurprisingly, in the interests of reinforcing the bias against Gripen, they’re pointing to the bug report system. Which they refuse to triage sound reports for Gripen E’s MAWS slaving capability, yet kill poorly formatted reports within hours.
