This was very interesting, I was not aware that there were 6 MAWSU. Very good 100% spherical MAW. I cant remember but is the MAW fully spherical in game?

though the dissonance of the non-spherical rwr to spherical maws, can be sometimes very confusing.
also i feel like it’s a lil sensitive to roll

I think the MAW is but the RWR isn’t (but should be). Though the MAW is currently broken and only fires chaff (or flares?) for some reason when it should choose one or the other, hopefully that get’s fixed soon.

Is that some sort of prototype thing? I don’t think that is still on the JAS39E is it?
i think it’s prototype, or modification specific, as the canoe in the background is kind of thin, whilst the colouration of the fuselage reminds me of gripen demo/ng

Oh alright, are there any pictures further away? Looks to be centreline a bit behind the nose landing gear in a bulge that doesn’t really exist on production models.
Haven’t found any other pictures but agree with that assessment.

Yeah, current gripper in Game is 6002 which is dated back to 2016
Isn’t the 6002 from later on? It’s one of the first serial produced planes. The first actual E versions unveiled in 2016 were the 39-8, 39-9 and 39-10.
