Sad we’re seeing a missile in the same range yet much higher closure rate compared to mk4, but are only seeing the first iteration. At least Viggen gets something nice.

How’s it? No idea what constitutes a good ASM vs bad. Except AGM-119, that thing barely dented my target and I never used it again.

The lack of range compared to much of the competition is pretty tragic. The radar is temperamental for getting them off the rail. The one I got off the rail had decent effect on target. Mk4 should have been the iteration we got for Gripen, given the threat environment it faces.

Good catch, did not notice it.
Doesn’t seem RBS15 can get through to hit a boat. AA is simply to effective. Also is this speed correct? Doesn’t seem to hit mach .9 at any point in its flight, outside of just dropping off the wing, at which point it tanks immediately to 900kph.
you can do that with every anti ship missile
especially the radar guided ones
When was this introduced? Not had it doable with any of ARH ASM up to yet.

That would explain it. First time I’ve had to use gmti to launch an asm.

Very much no. There is no range that I could get them through the AA. Flew straight into the boat, and was intercepted. Even in a full salvo.
