It has been reported previously but has been turned down and applied “Not a bug.” I wonder if giving these two sources I’ve manage to find would benefit. I might try making this bug report happen.

So, as of now there are quite a few additions that has indeed NOT been added to the Gripen E alltough they are ingame for other vehicles just as advanced as Gripen E (ingame advanced ofc ;) )
Though all this, one of the main issues with the FM is the missing of the larger wings / flaps extensions, do you guys think they will add it? the suggestion has been accepted for quite a while now…
Honestly it seems like they might aim for a “Gripen E (late)” considering how we have one of the prototype Gripen E currently modeled in game with the older wing and it wouldn’t be surprising for Gaijin to go with “early” and “late” variants as they’ve done in the past with other aircraft. Otherwise we should’ve had the new wing from the get go.
Such a stupid thing too, there is no Late, they need to change the name and we need an answer from @Smin1080p_WT as to what the devs idea of the slop they gave us is. We need to know if we were given a gripen E prototype instead of the E or the actual E and if their sloppy mess they call modeling will be corrected. Its embarrassing how much is wrong and lets not wven start on the cockpit MFD or the MAW and RWR being wrong lmao.
Guess if it makes us feel any better, the J-10C was also dropped in a pretty…meh state and the devs are well aware of it.
This might be one of the worst updates honestly. They brought one of the most wanted and anticipated vehicles, not even half completed.
One of the biggest flaws of WT or Gaijin team is that they absolutely refuse to communicate with their player base. It is such a nonsense management. They don’t even bother to explain most of the game mechanics, let alone clarify such simple matters.
It kinda makes me feel even worse. These stuff just tells me that they will not even bother to work on it and what we have in game now is what we will have. There is bunch of “accepted” stuff that will stay in that state for a long time, let alone the other main issues will be resolved ever. It is jut sad. Sometimes, Gaijin makes me regret that I do love planes. I just wish we had an alternative.
I suppose that they will rename the aircraft “EARLY” and when meteorm iris-t gets added, we get the “late” model as gaijin always did with the swedish tree and let alone with many other trees
You’ve said this a couple of times, i don’t think it’s sloppy at all, the extended wings are easy to miss as A LOT of media of the E version doesn’t have them equipped yet.
There is (to me personally) only one known actual error in the 3D model and that is the landing gear struts (i think it is) clipping through the main body. Otherwise they’ve actually managed to get a lot of details in the model that i don’t even think a majority of players even knew were there on the E but not the C.
The extended wings, the wrong cant on the thermal pod which lead to us needing to coreect them because they didn’t bother to see how it was actual modeled on the aircraft and the landing gear which even after the fixes gets worse each time. Thats not inclusing the MFD which is so terrible id unironically prefer the Gripen A and that thing doesn’t even have its historical MFD because gaijin put all their focus on the SAAF Gripen C when that was added.
So lets not call their slop anything other than what it is
Which it didn’t have at one point so it’s likely going to be considered an upgrade that the dev’s can choose to add or not.
That’s not a modeling issue, it’s the thermal pod not being aligned with the pylon, this is also present on all the gripens.
Aren’t they correct now? there were two fixes like a week ago. If they still aren’t correct then a new report needs to be made because i think all the reports on the landing gear has been adressed.
Which isn’t a modeling issue, but i do agree that it could use some attention and love.

Gripen A cockpit was reported but ignored in favor of the Gripen C because the Gripen C was priority just compare these to ingame its literally night and day lmao

Again people ask me why im so negative its because when was the last time sweden air got more attention to have equal footing like everyone else? Our own aircraft are done by some unpaid intern who spent 3 minutes and called it a day. Hell even the MLU isnt unique when its cockpit was given to everyone else. So why shouldn’t i call gaijin out for their sloppy work?
Center MFD is game convention, i think all map MFD’s are the normal map zoomed in by default for all planes (i might be wrong though).
I’m guessing this is an old screenshot because this is how mine looks in game currently:
The right radar screen is missing details and in total the flight data screen is missing completely as an option.

The Pylon itself has the wrong angle, which makes it clip. The pylon changed from C to E, which seems to have been overlooked in the crunch to get it out. It’s been accepted for a handful of days now
Question: does anyone know where the bidirectional nozzle for dumping/grounded refueling is?
From what i’ve seen the pylon is the correct angle but the pod isn’t.
Yeah it was an old one, only one i had but the in game one is still nothing like the irl as its a place holder

You mean reports? Nobody cares about the Gripen A, everyone flocked to the better Gripen on launch the one that was actually getting attention from Gaijin the SAAF Gripen.
Hey @Smin1080p_WT can we get an answer to the Gripen E and what the devs planned for? Cause its clear they have no interest in an actual production Gripen E so what is the plan? Make us Grind the actual Gripen E with no differences except missiles? What is this the 5th time we’ve had to do that?
So can we expect the current Gripen to get a redone 3D model or will it get a name change to reflect its a early prototype model prior to the Gripen E entering production?
Also how is it that the devs can buff Russian aircraft but cant fix the Gripens MAWs and RWR not being Spherical?
