I finished the event never taking USSR tanks at that BR. I played M1s, Challengers. No issue. One to two shots per BMPT. Its obviulsly as unsurvivable as any other USSR MBT.
Agree, totally. ussr tanks are made too OP. Which is a shame. In real world German, American tanks have the upper hand.
Thats true, i understood that a BMPT shoud not be at 10.3, but 11.3 it is fine, i shoot it like any other russian MBT, in the lower front plate, but still, if a BMPT is hiding its hull, i cant do anything.

If its hiding its hull you are cooked. Even shooting at the side sometimes makes it impossible to kill if its slightly slightly angled.
What i gathered most russian mains have the same issue. Unless you hit a sweat spot they are very hard to kill
This is not true. Only the M1, M1A1, M1A2 are good, but the sep modification makes them bad. Sure, at glance, ICMM, Gen 3 Thermanls, the best round, ERA; TUSK, but these makes them heavy, in a european war, they will not be able to drive on briges, there to heavy, mud, they will get stuck. In my opinion, USA shoud build quickly the M1E3, use warthunder players data about M1, make it better, and look at germany.
Where is to kill a German, French or an American tank its easy enough
You shoud know were the tanks stuff and crew are, Killing a BMPT isnt hard if you know were to shoot. if its angeld, shoot its goddamm track, like any other mbt!
You can shoot its rockets or belts to make them explode. It wont destroy BMPT, but will disarm it and make you time to cut distance and kill it. Then it becomes no threat to anyone.
or if your are a german main, just go away.

if its slightly angled, you shoot to the first wheel of the tracks and get it oneshotted
its closely the same. You need to aim to get viable parts destroyed, otherwise it`ll turn and kill you instead. USSR has armor so weakspots are smaller, but the cost for it is nearly any shot to weakspot either oneshots it or makes it so crippled it cant shoot back. Well there are some times it breaks, but huh, its war thunder, everyone has a chance for that break
basiclly, (for all newbies and german mains) this is a nother way, to kill a MBT.

i did lean on my own mistakes without videos, tho i had some experience prior to that (im atleast 15k battles before i started doint top tier) so it wasnt that painful, and i did learn prior to that with videos to play lower tier
i just watched evrey day malzi, spookston and other contend creator, how they play, were they go in maps, how they kill. Becouse someone told me that watching is key.
