gps is unable to update the position
it is more like a last known position thing which isnt to useful against fast moving targets
the IRIS-T SLM has it bc it is supposed to be used against helicopters as well
the IRIS-T SLS (which is identical to the one found on planes) only has IOG as a secondary guidance option

i thought the MiG-35/29M used the same MAW and LWS as the Su-35S?

Bruh, by this criteria we can remove half of the vehicles in game. At the end of the day it doesnt matter if said vehicle saw combat or even in service as long as it can fly/move under own power and use it weapons (at least in the perspective. Even then if said vehicle is unique/famous enough Snail might add it anyway)
