Well technical compatability between SU 30SM2 and SU-35 is as close as you get to compatability

I dont doubt that its close but for the weapons catalogue to be the same it has to be the same not just close. And it has to be proven or at least losely stated not just speculated.

Its like comparing F-35s of different countries all can be easily configured to carry similar weapons.

No because as long as its the same version, for example an F35A then its the same aircraft unless specficially stated otherwise like with the F35I Adir. The fitting comparison would be if for example the german F35A got the entire weapons compatibility of the F35I just because the german F35A is a more recently built version of the closely related F35I.

Now if you are comparing anti ship missiles I think this is where the diffrence lies in terms of hard points being installed. That is Su 35 vs SU 30 SM2.

So if im understanding you correctly here then there is already a difference in the weapons they both can carry? So that would mean that the compatibility is not 100% then.

Yes in that case you are right there is a diffrence in hard points, and anti ship missile capability, that is where the diffrence in ordinance lies but not when it comes to KH-38. Yes as you correctly pointed out the variance between the F35 but the compatability between F-35s and compatbility of F-15A and later models is far greater and much harder to replace and remodel.

look i am not gonna waste your time, but he clearly doesnt want to accept it even tho i showed him the brochure of the kh38 being compatible to su30mk ( not mkv) which is what the su30sm based on.

your doesnt. unles both of you get your brain back on and shows me a single based info that says the su30sm is very different than the su30mk with tvc and upgraded avionics, the point still stand.

KH-38 is not a missile that requires major hard point reconfiguration if it fits on one SU 30 it will fit on the other. SM2 has updated avionics and radar no reason why it can carry it and launch it.

Consider the slippery slope however.

I use a manual for a later model of Tornado that says it can carry Stormshadow. I then argue using @racimazzedine logic that the 1980s one can carry it also!

You have to have some curbs on what can or cannot be added. Saying one aircraft can carry X ergo another aircraft can carry X is not logical or in keeping with how weapons are put into WT to be honest.

Im not the guy claiming that both of these planes share the same weapons catalogue without any source whatsoever.
Im saying that the SU30SM should follow the same rules as literally any other aircraft in this game
